The house
Two week stay minimum. Very spacious (220 sq. m.) newly renovated 400 year old village house, with many original feautures but modern kitchen and bathrooms. Furnished mainly with antiques but also comfortable chairs and beds. High ceilings, large windows so house cool in summer. There is a wide staircase for the house on four levels. New paint, carpets, curtains in 2021. Dining room table seats six, but there is also a separate study with a very large table that seats eight. Will suit two mature couples (or one couple wanting huge space), with an interest in old Provence who want to live on cobble-stoned street two hundred meters from the twice weekly market and even less distance to four bars/cafes, five restaurants, two bakeries, and a butcher, Doctors, pharmacy, superette and another five more restaurants 250 metres way and a full supermarket one kilometre away. Regret no animals.

Reviews
Old Provence has received 1 reviews in the last 4 years with a:
martin en erica from Amsterdam,
Restaurants, food & wine
There are several wine farms nearby at Villecroze and other villages, and Aups is a centre for olive growing and olive oil production and the gathering of truffles from surrounding forests. There are some ten restaurants in town, one of which is Michelin-rated. The town's twice weekly market is a source of fresh fruit and vegetables and many provencal delicacies, as well as crafts, clothing and other artefacts. There is a weekly truffle market in late Autumn and winter, bring people from throughout France.
