Villa La Mayanne

Welcome to Villa La Mayanne! This beautiful Provencal villa, located in the green countryside of Callian, can accommodate up to 8 people. On a property of 3200 m² and with a living area of 207 m², there is plenty of room to completely unwind, by the pool, stretched out on the sofa or under the cosy terrace.

On a dead-end country road in Callian, among the open fields, you will find Villa La Mayanne. The villa was named after the stream that borders the garden.
From the driveway and electric entrance gate, you see the impressive villa, authentic in style with blue shutters. Two cars can park under the shelter and there are several more spaces on the driveway. The garden is 3200 m2 and is located around the house with a large area of grassland, where children can play freely, a boules area, the pool terrace and the covered terrace at the house. There is all kinds of vegetation such as flowers and herbs, a palm tree but also taller pines and deciduous trees that provide the necessary shade in summer.

The pool measures 8 m by 4 m and is 1.6 m deep everywhere. Getting in is easy with wide walk-in steps. Around the pool you will find comfortable sunbeds and a large parasol. The pool terrace is located a few metres from the covered terrace so you can easily keep in touch while dining or preparing dinner. Under the covered terrace is an immense gleaming table from a yacht. Up to 12 people can easily sit together here. The chairs are also very comfortable. Here you make direct contact with the kitchen and there is also an electric Weber grill. That promises to be tasty!

We enter the house through the front door next to the kitchen. A hall leads us to the living room. The grandeur with open wooden trussed ceiling immediately catches the eye. It almost gives the feeling of being in a castle! Large cosy sofas are arranged around a fireplace with potted hearth. There is a parquet floor combined with carpet. An open staircase in the living room will soon take us upstairs, but first we step through to the room next to the living room. The wooden doors with round arches are typical of the house. The space contains a small dining table, which can be combined with that of the living room into one large one. This is in case there is a colder evening and you prefer to eat inside. There is also a TV corner. On the other side of the hall is the kitchen, with lots of built-in cupboards where the fridge and freezer are all included. Everything is provided such as a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine and all the small kitchen utensils you might need. Attached to the kitchen there is a bar, easy for morning coffee or a cosy drink while cooking. The door opens onto the covered terrace.

To the north of the house, also on the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms. Both with a double bed, large wardrobe space and a desk. The rooms have no air conditioning but have ceiling fans. As they face north, it stays quite cool in summer. One of the bedrooms has a solid wooden cot. The bathroom between the two rooms is shared and has a double sink and bathtub. A separate toilet can be found in the hallway.
We go up the stairs in the living room. Here are the other 2 bedrooms. Again, you feel like we are in a castle. On the floor is wall-to-wall carpet. The ceiling shows the wooden beams. The master bedroom has a double bed, a separate dressing room, TV and an en suite bathroom with double sink and shower. The other bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe space and a desk. Upstairs, the rooms are also equipped with fans. All windows have mosquito nets.
