This beautiful holiday home in Saumane de Vaucluse was completed in June 2008.
On the ground floor the house has a spacious living room with Dutch TV, double bedroom with private shower and sink. On the 1st floor are 3 bedrooms with bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. From one of the bedrooms and from the hallway you have access to a nice covered terrace with seating. The view here is beautiful. The kitchen is complete with combi oven and dishwasher. In the garage is the washing machine and freezer. Fast wifi connected.
Outside, the 2800 m2 land is divided into several layers. Three terraces.

The house is located on 2700m2 own land, with a beautiful new private pool on a quiet and beautifully landscaped domaine. A small-scale park with 49 houses. Because our house is on the edge of the domaine, you can walk from the garden into the woods. The park has a reception with Dutch-speaking managers, a swimming pool with paddling pool, tennis court and bowling alley.
In the morning (high season), you can get fresh bread at the reception. The park itself is close to a golf course. There are four terraces around the house. Near the park runs the river Sorgue.The house is 7 minutes from Isle sur la Sorgue, about 1 hour from the beach and 1/2 hour from Avignon. The house is easily accessible by plane (Marseille) and by TVG (Avignon).

This beautiful holiday house in Saumane de Vaucluse was completed in June 2008. On the ground floor the house has a spacious living room with TV with Dutch channels, open kitchen, double bedroom with private shower and sink, toilet. On the first floor there are three more double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a combination oven and dishwasher. In the garage you can use a washing machine and a freezer. A high chair can be rented at the reception.

Culinary and wine
The Vaucluse, the "garden of France". An abundance of colourful, delicious food is displayed in the market stalls. Many fruits and vegetables, figs, cherries, olives and other products.
Fragrant thyme, sage, rosemary and other herbs. All these Provencal specialities, which come to sublimate the famous Côtes du Rhône wines, can be eaten in the restaurants of Vaucluse. You will find several restaurants with Michelin stars, because in Vaucluse, cooking is an art of living.
Vaucluse is also a well-known wine region. There are many wineries where you can taste the wine. There are also organic wine growers in the area. In the area surrounding our domaine, there is plenty to see and taste. Many places like Gordes, Lagnes, Rousillon are worth a visit.
Isle sur la Sorgue also called Little Venice (the river Sorgue that goes his way through the town) is known for its many antique dealers. On Sunday, there is a large market where you can find everything. There are also galleries with art. The market also offers vegetables, fruit, truffles, wines and honey.
Then, of course, there are the famous cities near the holiday home.
A visit to Avignon, the famous bridge, palais du Pape. This city is 14 km. away by car.
By train also good to do. There is a station in Isle sur la Sorgue. The cities of Aix en Provence and Arles are a short drive away.

Nearby: climbing, swimming, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, cycling, horse riding, water sports, tennis, mountain sports.
Hiking; there is a large hiking area in the vicinity of the house. There are hiking trails everywhere. You can also walk the famous GPR routes here. Walking from the house to the town of Fontaine de Vaucluse is about one hour or to the nearby town of Isle sur la Sorgue one and a half hours.
Near Fontaine, you can step into a kayak. The churning river offers an exciting afternoon for the whole family.
For cyclists there are plenty of possibilities as well. For the non-climbers, you can cycle well in the Luberon valley. For the more advanced, you can explore the mountain area of Hauts Vaucluse or go to the famous Mont Ventoux.
Golfers can play on the beautifully situated 18-hole course at 1 km. distance. The golf club also has an excellent restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner on the terrace with a view.
The domaine has a tennis court and 1 jeu de boules court.
