Interesting castles such as Château Couches, Château de Sully, Château de Montaigu and the pleasure palace in Cormatin with beautiful gardens. In Semur-en-Brionnais, one of the most beautiful villages of France, is the old castle of the Burgundy. A pleasant trip from your holiday home. Also worth a visit is the  Roman theater in Autun and the many religious buildings. For instance the 9th century convent in Cluny with convent library, Chapelle des Moines in Berzé-la-Ville with frescos and the Roman church in the beautifully situated Anzy-le-Duc with a pretty bell towers. Pilgrim towns can be found in Paray-le-Monial en Taizé. In Tournus you can see one of the oldest and largest abbey churches with frescos dating from the 12th and 15th century. Bathing is possible in the restored spa town Bourbon-Lancy with beautiful half -timbered houses.
