The house
Welcome to our attractive, welcoming and unique B&B, where comfort, cosiness and nature take centre stage. Our offer includes rooms in the cosy main house and luxury glamping tents in the garden, so you can choose between a cosy stay indoors or a special experience in nature. Our interior of the main house is modern with warm natural accents, making you feel right at home. There are 2 bathrooms in the house. 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor. Private bathrooms can be reserved on request.
The glamping tents each have a private bathroom in an adjoining barn.

THE MAIN HOUSE: 3 rooms with a total of 10 people.
Room MONET: 2 persons
This room is equipped with a comfortable double bed. A cot with high surround can be added on request. There is plenty of storage space and the room has free wifi.
MANET room: 2 persons
This room is also equipped with a comfortable double bed, enough storage space and free wifi.
Room CEZANNE: 6 persons
This cosy family room is also suitable for a small group. This room is equipped with 2 bunk beds with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top. There is TV in the room and free wifi.
THE GLAMPING: 3 tents with a total of 11 people. These are only open from the end of April to the end of October. The tents are furnished like a real bedroom with a small lounge, storage cupboard, clothes hanger. The beds are real beds... no air mattresses.

B&B Vallée dorée is located in a small hamlet called "Cros", part of the village "Dompierre-les-Eglises". Cros consists of about 20 houses where time has stood still. It is a quaint little hamlet amidst vast, hilly countryside, forests and lakes. In fact, the Haute Vienne is a region that is very green with many rural villages. It is also a quiet region where tourism has not yet caught on and where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful nature. Haute-Vienne is one of the three departments of Limousin, located next to Creuse and Corrèze. Cros is in the middle of three large natural parks. To the south are the parks regional Perigord- Limousin and Millevache en Limousin. To the north, Cros borders the park naturel regional de la Brenne.

In " Le Dorat" a small village about 17 km from Cros, the delicious "Marches de Producteurs" are organised every Thursday during the summer months (July and August). Local farmers and traders in meat, dairy and vegetables display their best wares. These are displayed in various stalls on the market square. You can buy limousin beef and local vegetables at very democratic prices. And if you don't feel like preparing everything at home...they will prepare it for you! There are several BBQ,s where you can have your meat roasted. Large tables are set, plates and cutlery are provided...conviviality prevails!
Would you like a wine tasting? Then we will send a sommelier who will let you enjoy delicious French wines combined with fine meats and cheeses from the region. More info on site.
Activities
Of course, this region lends itself enormously to organising extensive small and/or large walks and cycling routes. There are various routes that take you to idyllic, nostalgic and romantic places. Staff maps and various walking and cycling maps are available from us free of charge.
Swimming and other water sports:
For an enjoyable family outing, visit the Lac Saint Pardoux lake. The lake covers 300 hectares and is hidden among the woods. From Vallée Dorée it is just under twenty-five minutes' drive. Lots of activities are organised for big and small. In addition to the various walking routes, you can also water-ski, swim, fish, canoe, sail, ride a horse, practice archery, play tennis, mountain bike...there is a beach volleyball court and a real adventure park. For the little ones, there is a giant bouncy castle park.

There is still plenty of space and peace, even complete silence can still be found here. There is also an important heritage of architecture and art in the many Romanesque religious buildings, fortified castles, medieval towns and the famous tradition of porcelain.

Pets are allowed only after consultation. Price: € 15.00 per dog, per week.
Vallée Dorée is also rented in its entirety as a holiday home. If it is rented during the period of your stay in the glamping, the 10 x 5 metre swimming pool is located at N° 10. This is about 100 metres away from the glamping.
Swimming pool rules - Food & Drink
For everyone's comfort and safety, the following rules apply:
You are not allowed to bring your own drinks or food into the pool area.
There is a bar at the swimming pool where you can get drinks and snacks.
Bottles of water in plastic or reusable bottles are allowed.
Glassware is not allowed for safety reasons.
The pool at the main house can be heated at 16 euros per day. The pool at N°10 is not heated
We offer table d'hote on some days. The price for this is 25 euros per person, children up to 12 years at 15 euros. This includes a starter, main course and dessert. Drinks are not included.
Free internet, both on site and around the swimming pool.

If you want to use a heated swimming pool this is at 16 euros per day.
