The house
Les 3 Oliviers is proud to open this year its doors to welcome our guests into our apartments 'Picholine' and 'Lucques'.
Both apartments are located on the first floor of our beautiful, completely renovated house dating from 1876, which was a post office in the distant past, still from the time of horse and carriage.
The two apartments have their own shared entrance and are rented out per night (B&B) or per week (gîte).
The large communal garden (1000m2) invites you to cook and eat outside in the lovely summer kitchen. There are also deckchairs available for you to relax under the cherry trees.

The village St Laurent sur Gorre is located in the heart of France in the region Limousin
(department Haute Vienne).
At a 35 minute drive from the A20 motorway (Limoges), our 2 accommodations are not only suitable for a wonderful relaxing holiday, but also for your overnight stay on your way to the south of France or to Spain.

B&B Picholine can accommodate from 1 to 3 persons.
In the cosy, bright living room you will find a sitting area with TV, a dining area and kitchen.
In the main bedroom there is a comfortable double bed ready for you and enough space to add an extra single bed and/or a cot.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a 2-burner induction hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, microwave, Senseo coffee machine and kettle.
The bathroom has a shower cabin, wash basin, toilet, hairdryer and an electric towel radiator.
If needed there is an extra toilet in the common hallway.
In the winter your accommodation is centrally heated.

B&B Lucques can accommodate from 1 to 4 persons.
In the cozy and bright living room you will find a lounge area with TV, a dining area and kitchen.
There is one double and one twin bedroom. You will find your confortable beds made on arrival.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a 2-burner induction hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, microwave, Senseo coffee machine and kettle.
The bathroom has a shower cabin, wash basin, toilet, hairdryer and an electric towel radiator.
If needed there is an extra toilet in the common hallway.

Nous sommes venus aux Lucques plusieurs fois en famille et avons chaque fois passé un superbe séjour. Bel endroit propre et reposant. De plus, Annemieke est toujours très souriante, agréable et à l'écoute ! Alors merci ! Nous reviendrons prochainement.

In een mooi dorpje ligt deze geweldige B&B met hele attente en vriendelijke gastvrouw. We hebben hier een paar dagen genoten van het ruime appartement en lekkere ontbijt. We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in Les 3 Oliviers. Met een warm welkom van Annemieke en een heerlijk ontbijt geserveerd op onze kamer. Erg prettig was ook het kleine goed uitgeruste keukentje en het eethoekje. Alles lekker schoon en goed verwarmd. Een plek om terug te komen.
Restaurants, food & wine
In the shared garden you can cook and eat outside in the lovely summer kitchen with terrace.
In July & August there is a farmers market every Thursday evening in one of the villages in the area. Join in and take a seat at one of the long tables and enjoy all the good things that the land has to offer.
You can also enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant around the corner. It has a nice menu, an attractive interior and garden terrace.
A little further afield, in the nearby villages/towns, you will find plenty of places to eat.

Activities
In the lively village of St Laurent sur Gorre, you will find everything you need within walking distance, such as ...
a traditional French bakery for your fresh baguettes and croissants, a butcher,
a well equipped supermarket, a restaurant, a bank, a post office, a tourist office,
a bar with terrace, a tabac / presse, a hairdresser, a doctor, a pharmacy
and a lake where you can go for a lovely walk (with the dog) ... or you can throw out a fishing rod.
In the surroundings of st Laurent sur Gorre, you will find a wide range of activities.
You can visit the impressive war memorial Oradour sur Glane or the atmospheric village Rochechouart with its breathtaking castle.
In the museum village of Montrol-Sénard you will imagine yourself at the beginning of the last century.
The capital of Limousin - Limoges - known for its porcelain is also worth a visit.
Or maybe you prefer to go looking for 'that one little vase you always wanted' at one of the many Brocantes and vides greniers in the area?
The beautiful environment is ideal for lovely walks and bicycle rides (mind the hills though!).
Furthermore, you can go mountain biking, walking, horse riding, golfing, playing tennis, swimming and canoeing.
For the children, there is an adventure park (Aventure Parc), a climbing park (Tarz en arbre), a zoo (Parc Zoo du Reynou), a donkey ride at Ane et Carotte.
Or maybe a day trip to the fascinating Futuroscope (150 km)?
