The house
You are the guest of Le Moulin de Lande, a recognised tourist company. An almost 500-year-old chestnut drying house, restored in authentic style, but with modern facilities: the cottage la Clède is cosy. The living room has 2 French windows that give access to the large, partly covered terrace. From this terrace you have a magnificent view over the valley with our own vineyard. A lockable staircase leads to the second, lower terrace on the river side, which is largely surrounded by bamboo. This is a nice place to enjoy the sun. Here is also your own BBQ. La Clède has a large living/sitting room with an open kitchen and a view of the river. The two spacious bedrooms have beautiful built-in cupboards with antique doors. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two single beds. A cot can be added if required. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. A wireless internet connection (Wifi) is available in the holiday home and around the swimming pool. Furthermore, the cottage has a television and for the cool months of the year central heating. You have your own washing machine in the cottage. Upon arrival we have made the beds for you. If you stay two weeks or longer with us, you will receive, if desired, new bed linen from us every week. The cottage is situated near a river with a private sandy beach.
The Clède holiday home is situated on a large domain of 1.24 hectares with a beautifully laid out garden and its own vineyard. In every season you will find flowering plants and the various fruit trees give fruit in abundance. Céleste makes delicious jam from all this fruit. There is a large swimming pool with sun terrace, parasols and deck chairs. A small river flows along the entire domain. There is a private sandy beach for the guests with fine loungers. At several places, you can sit by the river la Lande. In the river it is lovely to swim, paddle, search for fish, sail and build dams. The sandy beach slopes gently into the water, so it is also very suitable for small children. You can bake your own pizzas in the wood-fired pizza oven by the river. On the domain you will also find a ping pong table and a playground for the little ones with a sandpit, swing set and climbing frame.

A very special place, idyllically situated on the banks of the small river la Lande with a private sandy beach. La Clède is situated on the domain of le Moulin de Lande in the regional nature park "Monts d'Ardèche". The domain is situated in the middle of nature, between woods and vineyards. On the bank of the Lande is a wood-fired pizza oven where you can bake your own pizzas. We have already laid the wood for you. In the beautifully landscaped garden flowers bloom every season. At several places there are cosy corners and seats in the garden and at the river. On the domain you will find a large swimming pool of 5x12 metres and, for the cooler months, a sauna and spa. From the terrace of la Clède you have a magnificent view over the valley and our own vineyard, where we grow the Merlot grape. We are quiet and rural, yet only 15-30 minutes away from the many tourist attractions of the Ardèche. Visit one of the medieval towns or villages like Largentière, Vinezac, Chassiers, Balazuc etc. Many of them have the predicate "village de caractère" (characteristic village sight). Visit the famous Ardèche gorge with its Pont d'Arc, some of the most beautiful caves of France like the Cocalière or the Aven d'Orgnac or one of the museums and castles. Go shopping in Aubenas. A visit to the famous Grotte Chauvet 2 is a must for young and old. The Ardèche is also known for its cosy (evening) markets.

Wat een prachtige plek midden in de natuur. We werden ontvangen door Celeste & Theo die ons van alle informatie heeft voorzien. We verbleven in huisje Orangerie, 1 van de 4 heerlijke huisjes. Er is genoeg te doen, wandelen, zwemmen ( heelrijk zwembad met ligstoelen) tafeltennis, vissen en diverse soorten fruit plukken op het domein. Veel leuke stadjes in de buurt en elke dag wel ergens markt. Wij komen zeker terug op dit plekje!

2 weken verbleven in de Bergerie, Knus huisje. Dakterras toegankelijk vanuit slaapkamer en woonkamer. Voor het huis een 2-de terras met uitzicht op de wijngaard.
Kleine keuken waarin wel alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig is.
Verder biedt het huisje alle comfort voor een ontspannen verblijf.
Prachtig domein, Klein riviertje lang het domein waaraan je ontspannen kunt zitten
Heerlijk toegankelijk zwembad.
Dit alles in een omgeving welke stilte en rust uitstraalt.

Wat een heerlijke plek! We hebben een week in La Clède gezeten en genoten van het uitzicht op de wijngaard, het rustig gelegen huisje waar we alles hadden wat nodig was, het zwembad en de rivier. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld waarbij we gebruik konden maken van de gpx-files van de website van Moulin de Lande. Eigenaren Theo en Céleste waren altijd benaderbaar en hadden nuttige informatie over de uitstapjes die we wilden maken. Kortom, een week in een hele relaxte omgeving met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren! Aan te bevelen!!
Restaurants, food & wine
Taste the nougat, goat's cheese or chestnut dishes of the region. There are numerous restaurants within a 10 km radius. Eat under the plane trees in Ailhon or on a terrace in the charming Largentière. Of course, you must also taste Le Moulin de Lande's own wine! There are various caves and wine houses in the area. But you don't have to leave: you can enjoy a BBQ at your cottage or bake your own pizza in our old bread oven by the river.
Activities
La Clède is situated in a forgotten valley where peace and quiet prevail, yet only a few kilometres from the famous river l'Ardèche where all sporting activities are possible. Think for example of canoeing, canyoning, rock climbing, hiking, fishing. Stroll through one of the charming medieval towns and villages: Balazuc, Vinezac and Largentière are a short distance from the domain. Browse around at one of the many markets: the most famous is of course that of Joyeuse. In July and August, there are also evening markets in many places. Visit the castle of Largentière or Voguë. And don't forget one of the famous caves like Aven d'Orgnac or la Cocalière. Swing from tree to tree in the foret l'Aventure near Jaujac. The Le Moulin de Lande domain is a wonderful starting point for cycling and mountain biking tours. Also hikers can enjoy themselves around the domain and in the Ardèche. Hiking and cycling can start from the front door of your holiday home. We will be happy to give you tips and descriptions. Spring begins early: if you are not tied to the school holidays, come during the months of March, April, May or June and enjoy in all peace the good things that le Moulin de Lande and the Ardèche have to offer.

You are dealing with an official company. We are professional landlords who have enjoyed renting since 2010 and will welcome you with care and enthusiasm. The many positive reviews speak for themselves.
You will enter a cottage cleaned according to sanitary regulations. In the process, all frequently touched surfaces have been disinfected with appropriate disinfectants. Each cottage has a kitchen and on the terrace its own barbecue, so you can cater for everything from breakfast to dinner.
You will stay on a domain of which one of the two owners is a GP.
You will stay in a beautiful location with lots of space, surrounded by nature. There are only four holiday homes on a plot of over a hectare! You do not have to have any direct contact with other guests, as everyone has plenty of privacy and plenty of space. You will have a wonderful holiday here, without worrying about getting close to others.
The Ardèche is a sparsely populated region where social distancing is already naturally present, given its rural character. There are many excursions, walks, bike rides and car rides possible where you will meet few, if any, other people.
At no extra cost, we can place a baby bed, high chair, baby bath, changing mat, toilet seat and/or potty in your cottage if you wish. It is useful to mention this when booking. Dutch-speaking childcare or babysitting can be arranged.
