The house
Holiday home Septieme Ciel from Art en Route is situated in the beautiful nature area of the Ardeche near historical town Largentiere. The very spacious gite has all modern comforts: modern kitchen, bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. A wood burner completes the homely atmosphere. The gite has a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The bedroom is located underneath the authentic vaults of the former silkworm farm. The kitchen is equipped with all modern comforts: oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, electric kettle. On the terrace is room for breakfast and relaxing. Guests of the gite can also enjoy the various terraces around the house.
The heated pool measures 12m by 3m and has salty water.
Three to four times a week we offer table d'hôte where you can enjoy a four course meal for 25 euros p.p.

Our former Magnanerie (silkworm farm) is located in La Davalade: Municipality of Chassiers , near Largentiere and 20 km from Aubenas.
From the "Route Soleil" exit Privas it is another hour to our B & B and Gites " Art en route ".

The area has several vineyards and wineries which can be visited. There are various guided tours held at differentl Vignobles. The winemakers are very proud of their products and love to tell you about their wines. Wine from the Ardeche is full of flavour and very tasty!
Activities
The Ardèche, in the southeast of France, owns it name to the Ardèche River. It is a varied landscape with historic villages, including Ruoms. In the south it borders onto the large national park "Cévennes". On the Ardèche river you can go kayaking and canoeing. Besides water fun, it is also a paradise for cyclists and walkers. Do not miss the Pont d'Arc, and high natural rock bridge, created by the forces of the Ardèche river. The Pont d'Arc is located about 5km from the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc.
The Ardèche is a wonderful nature area with beautiful, marked walking and cycling routes. Its nature is overwhelming, complete with stunning views.
We can provide you with walking maps and cycling routes with will give you days of enjoyment in the mountains and forests of the Ardèche.
We also have four mountain bikes ready for you to use. On the nearby river Ardeche you can indulge in canoeing and "canyoning".
In Largentiere is possible to rent e-bikes making cycling in the area a feast.

Wat een geweldige mensen, zo gastvrij! De Gite was boven verwachting en de omgeving prachtig! Één week was veel te kort voor deze belevenis.
We hebben meteen weer geboekt voor 2018.Serlane Dumoulin from Dilbeek,
Dit was een geweldig rustgevend weekje, mede mogelijk gemaakt door Marie-Louise en Hans, die er echt voor zorgen dat je je goed voelt bij hun. Wij logeerden in de gîte 2 : "La Petite Maison" en dit was een hele mooie studio. Keuken, eettafel, kamer en badkamer waren uitstekend ingericht + 2 prachtige terrassen met zicht op het zwembad en de mooie natuur in de Ardèche. De weg naar Art en Route was in het begin wat moeilijk omdat het redelijk smal is, maar na een paar dagen ben je dit al gewoon. Dank jullie wel Marie-Louise en Hans ook voor het lekkere etentje samen met de nodige sfeer en gezelligheid!
