The house
On a 4-hectare estate in a " zone naturelle", this exclusive wooden cabin tucked away in the woods has every comfort. Very private, you are the only tenant. The owners are discreet and will offer assistance if needed. They expect the same discretion from you, tranquillity is guaranteed in this incredibly beautiful spot overlooking the castle of Leotoing. At the end of a dirt road, you walk straight into the forest. The cabin is only suitable for 2 adults, no pets and no children.
There are no visible neighbours. No BBQ or open fire allowed outside.
The cabin consists of 2 single beds of 90x200m, a kitchenette with gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle and fan.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. No wifi.
An outside, not fenced off with lovely shaded spots under the trees, garden furniture, a great place to relax overlooking Leotoing castle.
The cabin is at 600m always a breeze and the nights cool down wonderfully!
There are no extra cleaning charges, so please clean yourself before departure, such as taking down beds, taking away rubbish and glass, not leaving dishes, sweeping etc.

In the Auvergne, on the border with the Cantal, the Puy de Dome and the Haute loire, on a terrain of more than 4 hectares, you will find this lovely cabin, a hidden gem in the middle of a forest with meadows and a view of a romantic castle ruin. The site is made up of wooded meadows and you can sit by the cabin under the trees, which provide plenty of shade. The Tatanka Ranch is situated on a dirt road with access only for the postman, rubbish collector and the occasional tractor, so peace and quiet guaranteed! You are the only guest on the property that you share with the owners, who are very diccreet and will let you enjoy it to the full without being a disturbing element, always helpful and happy to give advice on activities in the area. No other tenants, no neighbours within a short distance, so totally safe!
You can make the most beautiful walks from the cabin and the first facilities are at 7km in Lempdes sur Allagnon or 15km in Massiac.
This region in the Haute Loire is still undiscovered and offers a lot of natural beauty, if there is something that goes hand in hand in the Auvergne, it is oxygen. In the winter on skiing or in the summer hiking along the hot volcanoes, wherever you choose to go you breathe the pure mountain air!

No visit to Auvergne is complete without a cheeseboard! Among the five PDOs (protected designation of origin), you will be seduced by the light nutty taste of Saint Nectaire, the rustic taste of Auvergne blue and the sweetness of Cantal.
Culinary specialities with cheese as the main ingredient: aligot, mashed potatoes with garlic, creme fraiche, tomme, cheese soup, farmhouse bread and onions.
Activities
The almost 400,000 HA regional volcano park of Auvergne, with its vast mountain areas, forests, meadows, moors and lakes, shows a balanced biodiversity. A huge area for hiking and activities for young and old!
For example: panoramique de Domes an electric rack railroad takes you to the top of the Puy de Dome where you can enjoy a magnificent view of la Chaine des Puys 80 volcanoes that have been sleeping for more than 8000 years and are world heritage of the Unesco.

Further remarks
There is a TV in the cabin, which only works as a screen for the DVD player. There is no wifi. Internet works well on the mobile phone.
