The house
Our gîte is an original Auvergnats house, where many authentic details have been preserved. At the same time, the gîte possesses contemporary comfort. It has a luxury kitchen and bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs. The entire gîte is centrally heated with underfloor heating in the living room and kitchen. There is also a fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave/oven and dishwasher. You have a lovely south-facing terrace with stunning views.
On the first floor are two bedrooms (1 with 2 single beds and 1 with 1 single bed and a double bed) with a separate luxury bathroom. This is equipped with shower, washbasin and toilet. From the bedrooms you have a fantastic view of the valley where the village is located.
You can use our washing machine and dryer.
The cottage and terrace are private, but you can also use the facilities of the campsite. Including a swimming pool and playground.

The cottage is located on the edge of the forest. Plenty of possibilities for walking and mountain biking. The village of St. Germain L'Herm is 2 kilometres away and has a bakery and a small supermarket. Lakes for swimming are 10 and 30 kilometres away.
Our terrain is situated in the nature park Livradois Fôret.

Restaurants, food & wine
Of course, there are plenty of restaurants in the area (1 in the village) that serve delicious Auvergnois dishes. We organise, maybe less culinary, but barbecues with surprising dishes.
If you don't feel like cooking, we bake delicious pizzas, including an Auvergnat cheese pizza. There is also a possibility that we cook for you.

The cottage is situated at the edge of our campsite. Completely private but with the cosiness and possibilities of the Camping.

Additional price info and offers
In low season ( until 30 June and from 2 September) there is a surcharge for the Pellet heating. This is settled afterwards according to consumption. A rough estimate of consumption is between 75 and 150 euros worth of pellets. (estimated per October 2022)

Een aanrader deze gîte! Gezellig en comfortabel ingericht, met oog voor detail. Vanuit de gîte en de direkte omgeving kun je fantastische wandelingen maken. Zeker in juni een aanrader met de prachtige bloemen die overal volop bloeien. Zéér geschikt voor mensen mèt en zonder kinderen. De gîte heeft voldoende privacy met een afgesloten tuin, maar kinderen kunnen ook makkelijk gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van de camping. En heb je geen zin om te koken, dan kun je gebruik maken van de catering van Annemarie of de heerlijke zelfgemaakte pizza's van René, die overigens ook lekker brood bakt!

Wij verbleven juni 2015 14 dagen in de super gite op Le Sauzet. Heerlijk comfortabel en wow een openhaard!
De omgeving is ook prachtig en alle dorpen in de omgeving hebben hun best gedaan om mooie, goed aangegeven wandelingen te creëren.
Ook voor cultuurliefhebbers zijn er leuke plaatsjes in de buurt en het treintje lijkt ons super, doen we een volgende keer.
De gastvrijheid en service van Annemarie en René zijn geweldig en er is heerlijk eigen gebakken brood, gevulde heren en dergelijke.

Hallo lieve mensen We willen jullie nog bedanken voor de heerlijke tijd die we bij jullie gehad hebben. We missen de stilte en de relaxte sfeer die erbij jullie zo hangt, nu al. Het 'gewone' leventje is weer begonnen en dan merk je weer hoe lawaaierig en dichtbevolkt nederland eigenlijk is. We zijn enthousiaste verhalen rond aan het vertellen over die heerlijke gite van jullie, dus wie weet zit je volgend jaar wel helemaal vol geboekt. Wij waren eigenlijk fervente tentkampeerders en dit was de eerste keer dat we voor een huisje hadden gekozen en het was gelijk een schot in de roos, een super-gite, onze complimenten. En uiteraard mist onze Peter, Bas en Tessa en haar Franse vriendin. Mama, ik wil wel in Frankrijk gaan wonen zegt hij nog regelmatig. Dus van Peter een hele grote stapel knuffels voor Bas en Tessa en van ons veel groetjes en uiteraard heel veel succes met al jullie nieuwe plannen, Ruud , Conny en Peter
