Gîte "La Trouvaille"

Gîte La Trouvaille is part of an Auvergne farm, inhabited by the owners, in the very quiet hamlet of Cubes, about 3 km from St. Gervais d'Auvergne.
La Trouvaille is situated on a free and sunny piece of land of about 3000 m², sheltered against the hills with a beautiful view on a wooded valley. Part of the grange (large barn) with the écurie (stable) has been converted into a comfortable gîte, while retaining various authentic elements.

This authentic Gîte consists of a spacious living room with a kitchen corner and is attractively furnished with a rustic couch, a dining area, television, radio/CD-player and telephone.
The kitchenette contains a 4-burner ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, microwave and is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, glassware etc. There is also a washing machine.
You have access to a spacious and cosy private terrace with the possibility of using the sauna and the plunge pool of ca.4 diam. From here you have a beautiful view over the sloping terrain. Deck chairs and barbecue are waiting for you! An authentic stone staircase gives access to the floor with the bedrooms, a bathroom with shower cabin, wash basin and toilet, and another separate toilet.
One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two single beds - all with pillows and duvets and a linen cupboard in each room.

Original Finnish Sauna
For the real enthusiasts, there is an original Finnish sauna available, complete with cooling room and warm foot baths, and of course the plunge pool to complete the cooling.
