Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a pretty stone cottage with lots of character and amazing rural views from the garden. The cottage is in a quiet rural area in central Brittany just a few minutes walk from the Nantes to Brest Canal, ideal for strolling or cycling. ( We have bikes you can hire for the day). Inside the cottage, the living area is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen farmhouse table, and a cosy log burner for autumn evenings. . The main bedroom has a king size brass bed and is furnished in traditional french style complete with chandelier. The second bedroom can be arranged as a king sized bed or two singles. We can even fit in a cot or fold up bed for a child at no extra charge. The sofa-bed in the living room can accommodate 2 adults. The bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a full size bath.
Access: This property may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility as the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs.
Outside is your own private garden and patio , complete with table and chairs and charcoal BBQ for al-fresco dining. The communal area of the garden has a children's play area and a heated swimming pool (open from May to September) which is shared between guests of both gites and the owners. The pool is equipped with a safety-cover when not in use.
Covid-19 Statement
During the global pandemic we want to assure our guests that we are following all local and national advice to keep ourselves and our guests safe.
It is essential that guests make themselves aware of any covid restrictions before travelling.
The gite is cleaned and disinfected between guests, paying special attention to high contact areas such as door handles, light switches, taps etc.
Anti-bacterial and disinfectant products are freely available in the gites and guests are encouraged to use them liberally to keep the space clean and healthy.
The pool is cleaned regularly and chlorine products used to kill any germs.
We encourage guests to use the pool in family groups, leaving a little time between for the chlorine to work. Disinfectant spray will be placed near the pool ladder.
Guests should only use the sun-loungers provided in their own garden area and must provide their own beach towels if required.
Pets: Please note that we do not accept pets except registered disability assistance dogs.
