The house
A modern, light and airy apartment on the first floor of a small building (ten other apartments) in a calm area near the Palais des Artes in the centre of Vannes. It is under 8 minutes walk from the SNCF station, and under ten minutes walk to the city centre shops and restaurants.
There is an open plan living and kitchen area. There are two comfortable sofas, and a fully fitted kitchen with ample appliances, cookware and utensils.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed (140 x 190cm) and bedside tables. There are also large fitted wardrobes with drawers, hanging space etc.
Bedroom 2 has a comfortable double futon (140 x 190cm), bedside tables, and fitted wardrobes.
The bathroom has a powerful and spacious shower, freestanding sink and a drawer unit, mirror, washing machine etc.
There is a separate WC and large cupboard.
The apartment has wood effect laminate flooring throughout, and roller shutters.

The apartment is situated in a small building in a residential area of central Vannes.
It is 7.5 minutes walk to the SNCF train station, and under ten minutes in the opposite direction to the main shopping and restaurant district.
There is a small park nearby, and the area is not busy with traffic.
There is plenty to do in Vannes, but further afield (under half an hour by car) are some of the best beaches of the south Brittany coast.

Restaurants, food & wine
Vannes is a haven of restaurants of all descriptions and for all budgets.
Creperies are plentiful, one of the best and our favourites is 'Dan Ewan' (9 minutes walk from the apartment) There area also food trucks and delivery options. At the other end of the budget, there are many high end gastronomique restaurants (Empreinte, Roscanvec, Agora etc) some with Michelin stars, and everything in between. All are within easy walking distance of the apartment.

Activities
The apartment is ideally situated in the centre of Vannes, all shops, restaurants and other attractions are easily accessible on foot.
Vannes holds many festivals, exhibitions and themed events throughout the year. Jazz, nautical events, Breton festivals etc
A wealth of tourist information is available in the apartment, as well as suggested visits further afield in the Morbihan area.

Further remarks
You could easily spend a week in Vannes and have more than enough to do without venturing out of the city. It is easy to orientate and get around, and there are frequent buses to other locations in the area if you want to expolore. The apartment is very well situated to access everything on foot, but there is a dedicated private parking space behind the apartment for your use if you travel by car.
