The house
At only 700 kilometres from Utrecht, discover the beauty of the heart of France. The region of the old kings of France, Le Berry, the region between Sancerre and Bourges, in a rural setting between vineyards, hills, castles, vast forests and the majestic river Loire, lies the spacious family house 'Le Grenier de Neuvy'. The house is suitable as a holiday home for several families and can accommodate twelve people. It is located at the edge of the forest, on top of a hill (highest point of the department Le Cher) with a beautiful view, in the middle of nature.
From the summer of 2021 Le Grenier de Neuvy will have a full-size, in-ground, heated and safe swimming pool with a spacious terrace around it.

NATURE AMONG VINEYARDS AND CASTLES
There is much to see and do in the vicinity of the holiday home. From the garden you walk and cycle into the endless woods. Don't be surprised to see deer in the garden in the morning and wild boars in the woods around the house. From the balcony you can see the vineyards of Sancerre in the distance.
This holiday home is located in the Loire region near the famous vineyards of Sancerre, Pouily Fume and Menetou-Salon. Here you will find several golf courses and the area also offers cycling and walking opportunities. Trips can be made to the beautiful towns of Sancerre, Henrichemont and the provincial capital Bourges with its rich culture. The homeowners are happy to share the most beautiful spot of France with others. Canoe rental is possible 20 km away in the Loire and horse riding opportunities are nearby. Nearby you will find the vineyards of Menetou-Salon at 8 km and the vineyards of Sancerre at 12 km.

Heel leuk verblijf gehad! Mooi huis met alles erop en eraan. Leuke buurt met o.a. een pottenbak dorp in de buurt en bij 'La Cathédrale de Jean Linard' op een paar minuten lopen kan je ook leuk een drankje (en een snack) doen. Johan reageerde altijd snel als er iets was!

ROUTE DU VIN
Follow the Route du Vin and meet the many wine producers of the world-famous Sancerre or the Pouilly-Fume located on the other side of the Loire. You will receive an equally warm welcome for a tasting everywhere. On the way, stop in Chavignol (Commune de Sancerre) for the world-famous goat's cheese of the same name. The Loire region is also known for its castles. Of these, several are also set up for a visit.
Restaurants in the immediate area or in Sancerre, Cosne-sur-Loire or Bourges will introduce you to the produce of this wonderful region. On the way to Bourges, stop off at Menetou-Salon for a 'petit degustation' and find that the wines from Menetou-Salon are not inferior to those from Sancerre. Taste the famous goat cheese called 'Crottins de Chavignol'. This cheese, an ultimate pairing with the region's wine, we know of no better wine/food combination.
Activities
Besides the many vineyards that you can visit in the area to taste and buy delicious wines, the wooded area of Le Grenier has much more to offer. There are several golf courses in the area and there are also possibilities for cycling and walking. Riding schools for horse riding and canoeing on the Loire. There is an adventure park at 30 minutes' driving distance where you can climb, paintball and so on. Nearby are many goat cheese farms and at one cheese farm you can visit a huge corn maze in the summer. You can make trips to the beautiful cities of Sancerre, Henrichemont and the provincial capital Bourges with its rich culture and many cosy restaurants.
