Les Ecuries at Le Bouchet

Les Ecuries is a handicapped friendly conversion of the old stables at Le Bouchet, an ancient farm nestling in beautiful wooded countryside, close to the small market town of Descartes with its shops, bars and restaurants.
Renovated and adapted to a very high standard and sleeping up to 7 people, Les Ecuries provides the perfect accommodation to make sure you get the very best from your holiday.
Our gites are cleaned and sanitised in accordance with current recommended guidelines for Covid 19.
On the ground floor, there is a large open plan living area with a fully equipped farmhouse kitchen, dining area and a comfortable lounge area with Wifi and Satellite TV. French doors lead out to your own private terraces. Also on the ground floor is a large double bedroom conveniently located adjacent to the handicapped friendly bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, a double with its own seating area and a bedroom with three single beds – both with air conditioning units, fans and hairdryers. There is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Cots and highchairs are available together with a stairgate if required. Outside there are three terraces ideal for the mobility impaired with ramped access to the pool. The terraces are equipped with sun loungers, pergola, table, chairs and BBQ making them the perfect place to take advantage of the weather and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.
From your terraces you have access to the rest of the gardens at Le Bouchet where you will find the large shared heated pool and terrace, picnic benches and children’s play area with swing, slide, climbing frame and goals for a game of football.
For your security and peace of mind, the pool is fenced with pool entry points protected by pool security locks to prevent any toddler wandering in by accident.
