The house
The property "Les Glycines" is ideal for the extended family or for two or three couples and boasts a large ground floor bedroom with ensuite shower room, two spacious bedrooms upstairs with a family-size bathroom. There is also a separate toilet and shower room downstairs.
On entering the property there is an entrance hall leading to the fully fitted kitchen, utility room and a spacious lounge-diner with large, flat screen TV (satellite channels), DVD player, indoor games and more ...
Come with family and friends! We have two other properties in the same grounds: "Les Rosiers" and "Les Hortensias" that both sleep 4 people.

Located in the heart of the Loire Valley between Blois and Amboise, just 3 kms from the River Loire.
Being on the outskirts of the village (the centre with its café, general store, hairdresser and post office is just a 10 minute stroll away) it is beautifully quiet. Walk about 50 metres up the road and you are surrounded by vineyards. Drive or cycle a few kilometres and there's the beautiful River Loire. Small and medium-sized towns are fairly close by so really have the best of both worlds here!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully designed to facilitate relaxation, with bikes, hammocks, bbq’s, swimming pool….and even fabulous weather through October. Phil and Sandrine were superb and thoughtful hosts. The gites location in the Loire Valley made for a fabulous holiday.

Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad in de Gite bij Phil en Sandrine. Een mooi schoon en comfortabel huis. Een heerlijke tuin en zwembad. De eigenaren zijn uiterst vriendelijk en gastvrij Super verwend met verse vijgen en pruimen uit eigen tuin.

We have had a lovely stay in the largest gite. We are a family of 6 including 2 children. The equipment of the gite was abolutely good, we haven’t missed a thing!
The garden and pool were great and with so many things for children to play with. Philippe and Sandrine are very nice owners and always helpful.
And the Loire area is beautiful!
Restaurants, food & wine
The property is located near vineyards with some very good wine producers and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. There is even more choice in nearby Amboise and Chaumont!
Activities
There is a fenced swimming pool which is heated from May to end of September and outdoor games (boules/petanque ground, badminton, soft ball tennis). We also have a selection of bikes (kids and adults) which you are welcome to borrow free of charge. We live in an area where there are a lot of cycle paths and tracks.

Guest access:
Guests have full use of the house, its private garden with bar-b-que and the main garden with the pool and outdoor games.
Guest interaction:
Living in the same grounds we are happy to offer advice on how to make the best use of your stay in the area, should you require it. Phil is a conference interpreter and Sandrine works for an American company. We know the area well, we are French, speak English fluently and also some German and some Spanish.
