In this authentic brocante-style farmhouse, everyone feels at home immediately! The holiday home has been restored while preserving its old soul and is fully equipped.

You have this unique stand-alone farm for yourself and you have all pricacy here. Holiday home La Mare is located on a large one-hectare plot with beautiful wide views over the fields. The house has a large bright sunny living room with many windows, a fine open kitchen with a kitchenette and a wood-burning stove. There are eight bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. There is a second shower room under the canopy. In summer, there are nests of barn swallows, an unfortunately endangered species of bird, which you can still admire here. The farmhouse is an ideal place for cycling and hiking in the French countryside or just to swing a book in the hammock or stare into the crackling fire by the campfire. In short, an authentic accommodation where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The house faces south and its many windows make it a bright house. The spacious living room of 4 x 12 m has an open kitchen,. There is a bookshelf full of books, a CD player and some board games. The kitchen with kitchenette has a 4-burner cooker, a combi oven, two large refrigerators, a freezer and a dishwasher. There is also olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, salt, spices, sugar, detergent, toilet paper, washing-up blocks in stock, so you don't need to bring all this from the Netherlands.

You can do your shopping in Grandpre at 16 km or in two larger towns Vouziers and St Menehould which are 24 km away. You will find the bakery at 8 km in Vienne les Chateau.

The house in La Mare aux Boeufs is located in the countryside, still has a peasant atmosphere and is especially suitable for relaxing in and around the house. It is located in a hamlet with 5 other houses. You have wide views and complete privacy! In the garden, besides fruit trees, there is also a small forest. In the grounds there is a set-up pool from the end of June. There is a fire pit for campfires that provide a cosy atmosphere on summer evenings. There is also a large trampoline for the children. Next to the house is a patio with a dining table and a hammock, and next to it you will find the original cowshed and horse stable, and outside is an oldtimer tractor Ford-Dexter from 1962 which is still used to mow the meadows. Upstairs is the hay barn, a large room with a long cloister table and the ping-pong table. In the old stables you will find the barbecues and bicycles. You can enjoy the sun all day long if you want, but you can also sit in the shade on hot summer days on the open patio overlooking the fields.
