The house
Our house, detached, ideally located in the village is very quiet and facing nature. It is not overlooked.
Equipped with fibre optics, you can connect to the Internet by Wifi (FREE) or by Ethernet cable.
South facing. You are completely at home and the hedges separate you from the neighbourhood.
There are no other tenants, and we do not live on site.
The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep.
Your pets are welcome. Just bring their bedding. An area near the house is fenced in.
All linen is provided and beds are made, so don't worry, everything is ready when you arrive.
You have access to a flowery garden with a magnificent view of the valley and the forest.
There are several terraces, one of which has a pergola covered with a vine.
The house is well equipped.
The living room has an open fire (wood provided free of charge).
Ideal place for nature lovers, calm and resourcefulness. Many birds will come to visit you. Two meditation areas have been set up.
But active people can also go hiking or mountain biking (for hire at LA PETITE PIERRE) directly from the house.
Trains (TER) connect the village to the European capital STRASBOURG in 40 minutes daily.
We are approved by the VALEUR PARC NATUREL REGIONAL DES VOSGES DU NORD.
We are private individuals who rent their country house. We are declared to the town hall and respect the French tax system.

Wat een fantastiche huis en een prachtige plek, de eigenaren hebben ons hartelijk ontvangen.
Het is een compleet huis, wij zouden er zo kunnen wonen, de voorzieningen zijn van uitzonderlijke kawaliteit.
Centrale ligging met treinstation dichtbij, dagje Straatsburg vanuit het huis! De omgeving heeft veel te bieden, wandelen, mooie steden enz. Aanrader!Comment from TAVERNIER

Wij hebben het heel fijn gehad. Het is een leuk huis met een fijne tuin, waarin we op een avond een keer een ree hebben gezien. Een deel van de tuin is afgezet zodat onze honden ook lekker in en uit konden lopen. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving. Er zijn veel wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving.

Het huis heeft een prachtige en grote tuin. Veel vogels komen af en aan, zelfs een ree kwam voorbij. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De bedden vonden we een beetje aan de harde kant. Het is maar wat je gewend bent. Isabel en Didier zijn zeer hartelijke en gastvrije mensen, we voelden ons erg welkom!
De omgeving is erg mooi, heel groen en een bezoek aan Strasbourg is zeer de moeite waard.Comment from TAVERNIER

Alsace is a region of France renowned for its gastronomy and wines. In the vicinity there are many starred restaurants and others with excellent reputations.
The main places to eat are in LA PETITE PIERRE, WINGEN, GRAUFTHAL.
For wines in Tieffenbach there is an excellent wine and beer distributor: Entrepôt Osswald
Activities
Our gîte is close to LA PETITE PIERRE, a small mountain resort from where many hiking trails start. We are located in the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park.
There is a mountain bike rental station in La Petite Pierre where you can book whatever you want.
You can also go hiking directly from the house.
You can also discover Strasbourg, the crystal activities and the LALIQUE museum...

Further remarks
In Tieffenbach there is a railway station which connects it to Strasbourg in 40 minutes. This train connects Saarbrücken to Strasbourg, about ten times a day.
In Bitche, there is a very nice golf course, 27 holes.
