    Van het ene platteland naar het andere platteland, maar dan wel met heuvels en dalen en geweldige luchten. Helaas was onze week de koudste en natste. Het verblijf in l'Autre Maison 11 bood bescherming tegen het slechte weer. Goed geoutilleerd voor de thuisblijver en thuiskoker. Met de ruim aanwezige sfeerverlichting en de brandende houtkachel (gratis hout) wordt al snel een knusse ambiance gecreëerd. Nabije en wijdere omgeving laten zich goed exploreren, in Frankrijk en België. Zelf kozen we voor een max. actieradius van 40 autominuten.
    Met name Montmedy was een bezoek alleszins waard.

    Zeer gezellig huisje met alle gemakken die je nodig hebt. En fijne kachel, rustige omgeving en details zoals genoeg handdoeken, kruiden en olijfolie gewoon aanwezig. Ook met kinderen is de ligging aan de weg heb problerm er komt vrijwel geen verkeer! De omliggende plaatsen zijn ook mooi, vooral Mouzon is een aanrader en in Stenay zijn alle winkels te vinden die je nodig hebt. Wij hebben het als erg prettig ervaren en raden het huisje zeker aan.

    We hebben een fijne week gehad in dit schone huisje wat van alle gemakken voorzien is. De omgeving is landelijk en heerlijk rustig. Een goede uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van Verdun en veel andere leuke plaatsen in de omgeving. De Maas stroomt op een paar kilometer afstand door het naburige dorpje. Dit huisje is een echte aanrader voor rustzoekers die van cultuur en natuur houden.
