The house
Nice house with private garden by the water. There are two bedrooms with double beds. In the biggest bedroom there is also a single bed and a cot can be set up. In the living room, which has a beautiful view of the river, there is a double sofa bed. All beds have duvets. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower and toilet. In the kitchen (living room), in addition to pans and crockery for 6 people, there is a fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine and kettle.
The living room has a TV with Dutch channels, a double sofa bed, a two-seater sofa and an armchair.
On the covered terrace is a large garden table with 6 chairs. In the garden there is a swing with 3 elements and 2 deck chairs. The garden is fenced. In the house there are books, board games and children's toys.
All rooms are on the ground floor. The heating is electrically adjustable per room. Free wireless internet is available if our provider does not let us down.
The price is 595/625 euros per week in the months of July and August. Gas, water and electricity are included.
The other months the price is 450/495 euros per week excluding electricity. Bed linen can be rented for 10.00 euros per person. The electricity costs are 0.15 ct. per Kwh.
This house is also for rent in the winter months. Ideal for New Year's Eve with the dog(s) because in this area there are no fireworks.

Beautiful holiday home with its own garden, river bank and waterfall. Swimming and fishing from own garden.
The garden of Gite Saone is located directly at the upper Saone. The river is here on average
20m wide.
Our garden lies 25m after a waterfall where the water depth is up to 2m.
The water depth varies from 60cm to more than 2m. Fish species caught in our garden so far:
pike, perch, chub, rudd, roach, bleak, tench, carp, stone carp, brown trout, rainbow trout,
pearl, red mullet, ruffe, goby, zander, barbel.
The environment is a walking paradise. Forests and hills also beautiful for cyclists and mountain bikers.
Beautiful surroundings for motorcyclists.
In winter, the ski slopes can be reached within 45 minutes.
The house is situated at the edge of the village Monthureux-sur-Saone, about 400 km from Maastricht.
The house is within walking distance of a bakery, supermarket, butchers, restaurant, pharmacy, post office and ATM.
In the village is a playground and a jeu de boules court.
The larger towns in the area are Nancy, Vittel, Bourbonne-les-Bains, Langres, Neufchateau, Epinal, Luxeuil-les-Bains, Vesoul, Besancon, Dijon, Beaune and Belfort.

Vorig jaar vierden we voor het eerst kerst met ons gezin in jullie huisje. In de loop van afgelopen jaar kwam het met regelmaat ter sprake "wat was het toch fijn in Frankrijk". Reden genoeg om een belletje te wagen met de vraag of het huisje nog vrij was. Toen we vorige week binnen stapten voelde het als "thuis komen". De kerstboom werd weer versierd etc. Ook dit jaar weer genoten in jullie huisje van een ontspannen kerst. De omgeving wat meer bekeken! een topweek gehad! Groeten van ons, fam. Vos

There is a restaurant in the village and several restaurants in the vicinity.
In Coiffy le Haut, there are several wine producers and in Fougerolles several distilleries.
A beer museum can be found in Ville-sur-Ilon.
In the neighbouring village of Bleurville there is a biological market once a month on Saturday afternoon.
On Monday morning there is a large market in Saint Loup.
On Thursday mornings in Vesoul there is a large market, part of which is covered. The market in Epinal is on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

Activities
From the garden there is access to the river for swimming and fishing. The river is also very nice for children to play and is easily accessible.
In the vicinity are many attractions and activities such as: hiking trails, cycling and mountain biking (cycling track for children next to the house, riding stables, golf courses, karting, canoeing, toboggan run, glass factory, candy factory, prehistoric museum, other museums, cheese factory, wine and eau de vie producers, swimming pools, spas, adventure parks, monasteries and
old churches. In the summer there are many flea markets in the area.
In the house there is a comprehensive folder with maps, brochures and hiking trails.

Additional price info and offers
High season includes the months of July and August. In these months, the price includes electricity, water and internet at 625 or 695 euros.
The low season includes the other months. The price of 475 or 550 euros does not include electricity in these months.
Second consecutive week 10% discount in low season.
If you do not want to stay a whole week(s) please contact us for the possibilities and the exact price as the website does not always calculate this correctly.
Bed linen is not included. It is, however, possibly for rent for 10 euros per person.
A bath towel set (large and small bath towel and 2 flannels) and kitchen linen (tea towel, kitchen towel and dish towel) for 7.50 euros per set.
If you do the final cleaning yourself, no further costs are added and the house costs from 475 euros per week. Final cleaning may cost 50 euros.
We allow pets. We do not charge for this. The final cleaning in that case is 70 euros instead of 50 euros.
The price per night includes bed linen, final cleaning and electricity.
