Charming housing in the beautiful village of Englancourt. The house which has been fully renovated over the last years is composed by 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 fireplaces. You will definitely like the charming atmosphere of this house decorated with objects from all over the world and the very nice and quiet garden and his terrace.

The house is located in the small village of Englancourt, Aisne, Picardy. The aera is very quiet and is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the region. You can have very nice walks directly from the house as well as very nice bike trips. Acces to cultural places, restaurant and sports spots are easy. We would be please to guide you some tips and advices on the available activities.

Heerlijk huis, fijne plek, vriendelijke verhuurder. In een woord super!
Wij bleven hier een weekje met onze 3 zoons van 13, 10 en 7 en hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. De jongens vermaakten zich in de tuin of met spelletjes, of op de flipperkast. Hoewel we zonnig weer hadden koelde het s avonds nog wel af, dus eind van de middag ging de haard aan. Gelukkig ligt er genoeg hout achter het huis om te gebruiken!
2 prachtige en avontuurlijke wandelingen gemaakt vanuit het huisje, verder moet je alles met de auto doen. Reims is leuk om te bezoeken al is het wel nog 5 kwartier rijden.
De WiFi is niet geweldig en mobiel bereik ook niet maar dat hoort er ook een beetje bij op zo’n landelijke plek. Het tuinmeubilair was niet compleet, dit zou vernieuwd kunnen worden- bijvoorbeeld een lekkere luie stoel hebben we gemist. Houd rekening met wat extra kosten voor elektra en stoken (wij waren 33 euro kwijt voor een week).
Al met al hadden we een geweldige korte break op het charmante Franse platteland! Bedankt!

Heel fijn huis, gezellig ingericht en mooi gelegen. Mooi uitgangspunt om te genieten van de rust van deze mooie streek.

Several supermarkets within a 10 min drive.
Tavern at Englancourt, "chez Marc et Odile" (5 min) with a lot of good biers.
Restaurants (10-20 min driving) :
- L'Ermite at Saint Algis
- La Halle chez Marc at Marly Gomont
- L'Escale in La Capelle : they have a very good couscous but also a lot of regional plates (reasonnable prices)
- In La Capelle as well : Le trotteur, in front of the Horce race
- On the road to Guise : Le Lord Godet is proposing good regional plates
- And a very good one (our favorite) in Le Nouvion en Thierache : Hotel de la Paix. (menu around 35 euros)
- There is also a simple one on Buironfosse (Al' Fermette) which proposes fair traditionnal food. The price are very low. (located on the road to La Capelle, on the right)
