Located in Flancourt Catelon, in Normandy in the Eure, in the heart of a beautiful valley, in a 20 hectare property, 1H30 from Paris (A13), 30 minutes from Rouen, 45 minutes from Deauville and Honfleur and 20 minutes from the Abbey of Bec Hellouin or Jumièges, the former stable is a charming and completely independent seasonal rental which welcomes you all year round, for a weekend or more.
The gîte de l'ancienne écurie offers you a different way of staying and invites you to experience an exceptional moment, with happiness to be enjoyed day after day, to the point of forgetting the moment when you have to leave! A real haven of peace for lovers of peace and nature.
You can have your lunch in the garden located on the edge of the forest if the sun is shining.
This gîte is suitable for a couple or a family. It is composed of :
- 1 large living room with a sofa bed (bed 140x190) on the ground floor with fireplace
- 1 spacious bedroom with a double bed (160x200)
- 1 single bed (90x190) on the first floor
- 1 bathroom with shower, washing machine and 1 separate toilet
- 1 large kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, steam cooker, mixer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine .... and a pellet stove
The price includes your personal welcome, electricity, heating, sheets, towels and tea towels.
A baby bed and high chair are available on request.
Bicycles are available for hire and we have a partnership with a beauty institute which can come and offer massages or treatments at home.
For safety reasonś access to the jacuzzi is strictly forbidden to children under 16 years old, and to children under 18 years old not accompanied by an adult.
Reservation for 30 minutes access to the Jacuzzi is mandatory 24 hours in advance. A deposit of 100€ will be required. (see internal regulations)
It is also possible to follow scrapbooking, cartering and table decoration courses... by appointment

Hele mooie locatie, huisje was prima!
De gastvrouw Sonia was ook erg aardig.dirk minnebo from EVERGEM,
Uitstekende locatie, rust, stilte, natuur. D.w.z. voor natuurliefhebbers en mensen die willen ontstressen. Alles is aanwezig in dit kleine maar mooie huisje. Sonia zorgt voor al wat je nodig mocht hebben. Voor de kust iets te ver voor ons... maar de dorpjes en het Normandische platteland zijn prachtig. Een aanrader.

Het kleinste huisje op het landgoed maar prima te doen voor 2 personen. Onze hond was ook mee en heeft net als wij enorm genoten. Het landgoed is prachtig, rustig, genoeg te zien en te horen (kippen, ganzen, pauwen, alpacas).
Ook de omgeving is mooi en gevarieerd. Het is een klein uurtje rijden naar de kust of bijvoorbeeld naar Giverny in het oosten. Kortom, heerlijke vakantie gehad.

The Normandy cuisine is rich and there are many markets in the area, the best known being in Le Neubourg.
In Bourg Achard, 4km away, there are many restaurants, including one with 3 Michelin forks.
Normandy is a land of cheese with camembert, pont l'évêque, neufchâtel, livarot...
It is also a region where cider and calvados are made.
Activities
The property is situated on the edge of the forest of Montfort sur Risle and a footpath passes by.
It is possible to go canoeing down the Risle or water skiing from the Toutainville leisure centre.
If you like nature walks and peace and quiet, this is the place to be!
