Situated on the border between Eure and Calvados, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region, the gîte boasts a magnificent view over the valley. It is set in over 3 hectares of parkland in the Natura 2000 area. It offers a haven of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, in a verdant setting of hedged farmland. There are many walks in the surrounding area.
Below is the village of Cormeilles, with its many shops, restaurants and distillery.
A little further along the Normandy coast, you can take a stroll along the boardwalk in Deauville (29kms), enjoy the charm of Honfleur (23kms) and the Sunday morning market in Trouville. Lisieux and its Basilica, around twenty kilometres away.
Le Bois-Hellain is about an hour from Caen and Rouen. Mont Saint Michel, our Norman pearl, is 192 km away.
