The house
The Old Farm Gite is a charming stone cottage nestled in the heart of the Cotentin Peninsula and the DDay Beaches, situated just 8 km from the historic village of Sainte Mere Eglise. Very spacious and can accommodate 7 people comfortable, recently renovated and tastefully decorated with all modern facilities. A private enclosed cottage garden. Ideal for families, small groups and couples.
Ground floor hall, spacious fully equipped kitchen diner, beautiful living area with wood burner and door leading out to the private rear garden, downstairs double bedroom with private adjoining bathroom with shower.
First floor consists of a further two bedrooms both with ensuite with showers and one bedroom has an additional single bed. Also located upstairs is a large entertainment area with books, board games, jigsaws and games console.

Wat een prachtig huis! We hebben met ons gezin met 3 kinderen een heerlijke tijd gehad in deze gite. Heerlijk opgemaakte bedden, een grote keuken met veel apparatuur en mogelijkheden. Een mooie woonkamer en boeken, dvd's, een Wii met talloze spellen in de woonkamer boven. We hoefden ons niet te vervelen. Verder heel rustig en aardige gastheer en gastvrouw.
Het enige nadeel was dat we niet makkelijk een wandeling konden maken in de buurt of de kinderen buiten laten spelen. Daar leent het zich iets minder voor.

Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us , we wish you had told us that you like walking or wanted walks as we have some great historic and country walks in the beautiful countryside that surrounds the farm, the guides are for all to see and use and are displayed with all the other local information in the main house. We are a little surprised about the comment about not being able to let the children play outside as we have lots of young families stay with us at the gite and it is lovely to see them playing in the enclosed farm courtyard that is in front of the gite or the private garden the gite has. The gite also backs on to our field which is enclosed and is used quite often by our guests. Thank you and kind regards David & Alyson
