The house
This two bedroom gite is furnished and decorated to a high standard and benefits from a mix of period features and modern facilities. On the first floor you will find a king-size double bedroom with skylight to watch the stars at night, a twin bedded room and family bath/shower room. Downstairs is a well proportioned kitchen/diner/living room with stunning views over the countryside through the patio doors. These doors lead to your patio and out to the shared salt water pool and garden. There is the added benefit of a downstairs toilet.

We are several hundred metres from the nearest road accessed by a short lane leading to the white lanes of France. We have spectacular views over the rolling countryside, the colours of which change during the day with the light and shadows and as the seasons progress. Being in unspoilt, natural countryside wildlife, flora and fauna are fantastic in their variety

Britse gastvrijheid in het wijde Franse heuvellandschap. Een heerlijke plek als je op zoek bent naar natuur en stilte. Slechts twee gites op het terrein, dus rust is gegarandeerd. Heerlijk (verkoelend) zwembad en een zeer ruim grasveld dat met Britse precisie wordt onderhouden door de genereuze gastheer, Paul. De bakker voor dagelijks vers brood zit dichtbij, en een uitgebreide Intermarche op zo'n 10m rijden. Barbeque is beschikbaar bij de gite. Verder is het huis goed geoutilleerd, met goede wifi-verbinding en goede kwaliteit bedden.

Een leuke gite met alles erop en eraan. De woning was zeer netjes en leuk ingericht. Er lag bij aankomst ook een leuk welkomstpakket klaar (met wijn, jam, ...). Zeker een aanrader en hele vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaars die je toch de nodige privacy geven!

We are superbly situated on the Charente, Dordogne, Limousin borders to offer a fabulous region of France with all its attractions combined with the fantastic accommodation we have.
Our aims are to provide you with wonderful opportunities to build lasting memories with friends and family; so important in making a good holiday great.
The location is so perfectly tranquil for rest and relaxation with the stunning pool and its views. Situated at the top of the lane on a hill traffic noise is a real rarity.
For those of a more active nature walking and cycling routes run from your front door – from easy to strenuous, rarely seeing another person or vehicle.
The range of wildlife, flora and fauna, is immense with opportunities to see wild orchids, hoopoe birds and many other rarities.
Local culture from chateaux, markets, stunning architecture in local villages and towns…a favourite treat is a local producers market banquet on a summers evening – all available within a short drive.
Other activities within easy reach include kayaking, horse-riding, golf, go-karts, quad-bikes.
Summer nights often mean barbeques but for those looking to eat out, a range of restaurants nearby to suit all budgets can be recommended.
To entertain you whilst you are here then alongside the pool, we have 2 acres of grassland for games as well as table-tennis, boules, etc for your use.
Both of us are very keen on giving you the best experience we can; we are continually looking for ways to improve and add to your holiday. The quality of the accommodation is high, and we strive to maintain things to that standard.
