Located on the sunny Charente / Dordogne border, Chateau de Gurat offers six child-friendly holiday cottages (or gîtes as they are called in France) for those wanting to experience the pleasures of rural France. The gites are set in the landscaped grounds of the picturesque chateau, which dates back to the 15th century and stands in 14 acres of meadows and woodland. The Mas Provencal boasts great views over to the gardens, sandpit and playbarn. It is an ideal spot if you want to sit on the terrace with a good book and a glass of Bordeaux, whilst keeping an eye on the children playing.
