The house
Gite La Petite Maison is an elegant, modern, one bedroomed property especially for 2 with french doors, opening directly onto the pool terrace. Wake up to sunlight and shadows playing across your bed. Take an invigorating swim before the world wakes up and then dine al fresco on the terrace.
Gite La Petite Maison is the newest of our three properties. Lovingly restored from an existing barn, it has been transformed into a beautiful one-bedroom gite. With double doors leading from the kitchen/sitting room to the terrace, the gite overlooks the swimming pool and offers complete luxury. Its light, bright and airy atmosphere compliments the interior with exposed stonework and wooden beams.
It benefits from a large open plan kitchen/sitting room, tastefully decorated with underfloor electric heating throughout.
In the kitchen there is an eating area and adjoining sitting room, with a television, and DVD player. Kitchen facilities include separate hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge.
The beautiful and comfortable double bedroom is equipped with light oak furniture with plenty of storage complimenting the exposed stone-work.
A large shower room with fittings completes this haven of peace, luxury and tranquility.
The gite has underfloor heating and is equipped with wifi.
All linen and towels, tea towels including pool towels are provided free of charge.
As well as supplying a FREE welcome pack on arrival the property has a patio table and chairs which are located on the terrace pool area to ensure sun all day and early evening.
It is ideal for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also provided for the pool area. The gite is equipped with a barbecue and tools for 'al fresco' dining.
There is also a free parking area for your car.

Super vakantie, ideale woning/studio voor 2, 60m2, zeer uitgeruste keuken, leuk welkomspakket voor eerste ontbijt, proper, leuk om te zitten en mooi zwembad. Wij hadden supergeluk want zwembad was voor ons alleen, andere 2 gites waren niet verhuurd door Corona. Leuke buurt, maar je moet wel van de rust en natuur houden. En Ian, jouw mirabellen-gingerconfituur is verrukkelijk, wij kregen zelfs een extra potje mee. Bedankt.

Le Doci - French/European: Small local restaurant, local produce, good value, eat inside or outside in the small covered garden. Just 5mins or 4km.
Graines et Garenne - Chateauneuf-sur-Charente: Opened in 2009 very popular with our clients. Good value, local menu pretty terrace.
Mas Charentais - Chateauneuf-sur-Charente: Traditional restaurant with panoramic views of the valley and river below from a beautiful sunny terrace.
Le Chateau - Barbezieux: A relaxed family restaurant, opposite the impressive Chateau at Barbezieux, serving pasta and pizzas as well as an extensive french menu.
Chez Paul – Angouleme: A very popular place to eat set in the old part of the town. With its quirky decor and lively ambience, especially the beautiful terrace in the summer. It boasts a cuisine that is based on fresh local market produce and offers a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetarian food.

Out of season we are happy to offer a 3 day minimum stay. Our nightly rates are based on minimum of 3 nights to 6nights and then weekly rates based on 7,14, 21 nights ect.
Arrival is from 16.00h and Departure from 10.00h
