The house
Alouette is a rustic 2 bed courtyard cottage and has a studio style lounge/kitchen/diner which is fully equipped. The cottage has two large spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has three single beds, both with views into the gated courtyard. An open barn in the courtyard provides an al fresco outdoor eating area that is exclusively for Alouette guests. Gite has both French and English television, as well as a DVD player.
Alouette is set on one level, but access to the property is via a small number of steps
As well as the courtyard garden, guests also have access to the spacious 1.5 acre shared garden with an 11x7m heated pool which is shared, in a secure gated pool area which is shared by the 3 gites. There is ample space for a variety of ball games, table tennis and Petange. For the less energetic and for those preferring to relax and let the world go by, there are hammocks and ample sun loungers around the pool area, all surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vines as far as the eye can see.

In a small hamlet surrounded by cognac vineyards and sunflower fields. Mouthier sur Boeme is 4kms away which has a bakers, butchers and small supermarket. Lots of local markets within an hours drive daily. 20 mins from Angouleme, beautiful town and Cognac historical town is 40 mins away. Also 2 vineyards close by which do tours and sell their cognac and wine.

Geweldig verblijf in Tillac! Een leuke en ruime gite met uitzicht op vallei en zwembad. Uitstekende bedden en idem dito sanitair. Eigenaren Catherine en Steve zijn schatten van mensen die alles doen om het je naar de zin te maken. Een aanrader!
