The house
Beautiful Gite in very quiet area with very Private Pool and no Neighbours
We have one Gite as well as our House.The Pool is in a completely private secluded area away from the house.
Siting room
The feature of the sitting area is The Bread Oven where the bread was baked as far back as 1881.
Sitting room has a tv, dvd player with selection of dvd's, wifi and wifi speaker for garden available on request, as well as a selection of games and books in bookcase.
Dining room area.
The dining room has a 4 seater adjustable table with matching sideboard, all china and crockery can be found here.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a wide selection of cooking utensils, cutulery, china, and glasses as well as a 2 ringed hob. It also has a countertop oven and microwave as well as a fridge with a small freezer compartment.
Bedroom 1
This bedroom has a large double bed with memory foam mattress which can be adjusted to sit up for reading in bed as well as a wardrobe for hanging clothes.
Bedroom 2
This bedroom can be made up with the option of a superking or twin bed, all matresses are memory foam. There is a large French wardrobe for hanging space.
Shower room
The shower room has a modern shower, wc and sink.
The pool
(pool landscaping to be completed by May 2018
The private pool newly installed in 2017 is 10 by 5 metre in size and is of uniformed depth.The pool is heated and uses a saltwater chlorination system. The Pool will be heated between May - October. The newly built pool house is fully equipped with plastic utensils, fridge freezer and bbq. Table and chairs are provided for eating in this area as well as comfortable sofa to relax and shelter form the midday sun.The pool house and gite are surrounded by beautiful long flower beds which contain herbs and wildflowers that grow throughout the season.The gite garden has large trees for shade.The entire property has unspoilt views all around.

3 weken La Fauri zijn voorbij gevlogen. Dat komt door:
• Een zeer gastvrije ontvangst;
• Verwennerij met kaas, charcuterie, appeltaart, brownie enz..
• Een hele gezellige pizza-avond met Monique en Dan;
• Een prachtige omgeving om te verkennen;
• Vriendschap tussen onze hond Saar en de hond Louis;

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad samen met onze kinderen. Het huis is heel gezellig ingericht en voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Ook blijft het erg koel in het huis wat erg prettig is. De tuin is prachtig en vele malen groter dan te zien op de foto’s met veel plekken om te zitten. We hebben voornamelijk genoten van het heerlijke zwembad met poolhouse wat ideaal is. De kinderen vonden daarnaast de pooltafel, tafeltennistafel en tafelvoetbal geweldig en hebben elke dag hun eigen pruimen geplukt. Dan en Monique zijn fantastische mensen die je gelijk het gevoel geven welkom te zijn met een heerlijk welkomstpakket en verse groente uit eigen tuin in de ochtend. Dan heeft voor ons de beste pizza’s gemaakt op de pizza avond welke ze georganiseerd hadden en Monique geeft fantastische massages. Ook zijn we uitgenodigd voor de verjaardag van Monique die jarig was tijdens ons verblijf wat erg leuk was. Dit alles maakt deze plek tot een echt paradijs waar we zeker nog een keer naar terug gaan komen!

hartelijk dank voor deze vriendelijke woorden. Het was geweldig jullie allemaal hier en op Monique's feest te hebben. Ik kijk ernaar uit jullie allemaal op een dag weer te ontmoeten.

Dan en Monique hebben een heerlijke plek gecreëerd om volledig tot rust te komen. De gites is volledig en gezellig ingericht. Het zwembad en het poolhouse geven je de vrijheid om lekker te relaxen en te zwemmen. Hun gastvrijheid overstijgt alle grenzen, niets is te gek. De fijne lijn tussen privacy en gezelligheid weten ze goed te bewaren. Ons verblijf was fantastisch.

We have some very good Restaurants in the area
in Villebois Lavelette (9 mins by car) The Lavelette good French Restaurant also in Villebois there is Hall Dente a very good Pizza Restaurant .
We have a local Bar in Ronsenac (5 mins by car) Jimmys Bar which also does good food.
Le Petit Restaurant is a favourite of ours located at Combiers 18km (22 mins by car) great for meat and fish
there are plenty of good Restaurants in other towns in the area below

a variation of adult and children's bicycles are available free of charge. bicycle routes can be found in the gite or at the villebois lavalette tourist office.
I have a small lake containing small Tench and Carp that can be fished
all walking routes can be obtained from the local tourist office in Villebois
