The house
Le Campagnol is a 4 person gite that consists of two parts. The main building with the living room/kitchen, bathroom and upstairs one bedroom with two single beds or one double bed. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, cooker with oven and a
microwave.
Right next to the main building is the annexe with two rooms, one of which is a bedroom with a double bed, intercom between the two bedrooms.
The living room is equipped with TV and sound system. Also in the living room a sofa bed with real mattress for possibly two more persons. The heating consists of a very practical gas heater and there is electric extra heating.
At the front of the gite there is a picnic table and at the back a terrace with garden furniture.

Our little domain with two gites and B&B is situated at the edge of a small village with an unobstructed view to the south and next to a forest where you can go for a lovely walk (with your dog). In our orchard we have a swimming pool, petanque, table tennis, badminton, swings, sandpit, trampoline.
The area is hilly with many forests and farmlands, great for cycling if a little trained, and with many hiking trails around, we have all the info available.
Shopping in Limoges, Brive or Perigueux, canoeing or kayaking on the Vézère, ballooning, fishing, golfing, swimming in a lake, to the zoo, shopping in Limoges or Brive (market) or visit old towns and much more.

Wat een super locatie en wat een gast vrije eigenaars het is echt een hele fijne omgeving om lekker te ontstressen

Heel leuke tijd gehad in de villa, samen met de familie. Prachtig weer ook. Er is ruim plaats voor 9 pers. Charmant ingerichte villa ook het interieur past in de stijl van het huisje. Het uitzicht vanop het balkon of vanop het terras aan het zwembad is adembenemend.
Er is meer dan voldoende te doen in de streek in een straal van 20km voor een gezin met kids. (zwemmeer, kajak, velorail, vissen, wandelen,..)
We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en gastvrouw!

Inmiddels mijn 3e verblijf op dit heerlijk plekje. Geweldige gastheer en gastvrouw, huisjes voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, ruume tuun, heerlijke boomgaard en zwembad met uitzicht op het dal. Supermarches en restaurants voldoende aanwezig binnen enkele kilometers. Vanaf mijn allereerste bezoek voel ik me hier thuis, niet op z'n minst door de relaxte, gadtvrije houding van Paul en Carin. Waarschijnlijk was dit dus ook nog niet ons laatste verblijf hier.
Restaurants, food & wine
This region has long since ceased to be a wine-growing area; the vines have been replaced by apple trees. And the famous Limousin cows, so the beef is of exceptional quality. Furthermore, foie gras, walnuts, raspberries, strawberries, trout, duck.
Perhaps not very culinary but very nice are the food markets in July and August, every weekday there is such a food market in a nice town nearby with long tables, a variety of local producers of meat, fish, bread, vegetables, fruit, wine etc and large barbecues where you can go with the purchased goods to the tables with live music in the background to eat, a real must!
We provide a few times a week table d'hote on request.
Activities
Our guests go shopping in Limoges, Brive or Pergueux, kayaking on the Vezere, karting in Lubersac, fishing, to the food market, to a climbing park, petanque, swimming with us, in a lake or the river, walking, cycling etc.
We have all the information for you on the spot.

From the apple blossom until the summer begins, we offer a spring arrangement
In the green rolling Corrèze, Limousin near Arnac-Pompadour. Rural location on the outskirts of a village.
We propose a package of 5 nights a double room with breakfast. Including 3 evenings dinner.
The price for this arrangement is 419 Euro based on two persons.
We have folders full of information so you will not be bored, you can visit medieval towns, fishing or swimming in the river or lake, walking and cycling, shopping in Limoges, Brive or Perigueux but above all enjoy your rest.
If you would like to stay longer than 5 nights with us, of course that is also possible, or if you prefer a cottage instead of a room, also no problem (for example for this 5 nights arrangement but in a cottage a surcharge of 50 euros).
