The house
At 1 of the most beautiful places in the Correze with magnificent view of the Valley of the Dordogne and the Lac D'Hautefage we offer a cozy gite on our site. The gite is cozy and fully equipped. Here you will experience the old France; Silence, beautiful views, nature, tranquility and no light pollution. The layout is as follows; On the ground floor the kitchen with wood oven and appliances and a door to the terrace, then you can go up with a staircase and you come to the living floor with beautiful light laminate flooring that has a door on the street side, from this room you have one Beautiful view over the Lac d'Hautefage, there is a fireplace an eating table with a view and a wonderful sofa. Here too a wooden staircase to the top floor and there are two bedrooms one for adults and a smaller room with bunk beds for possibly children. On the terrace at the rear you have all privacy and views.

The Gite is located in the beautiful 'Vallée de la Dordogne', which extends over the departments of Corrèze and the adjacent Dordogne.
Near nice villages as ; Argentat, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Aurillac, Brive, Rocamadour and many others there is much to see.

Wat een prachtige plek. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en je komt er gewoon tot rust...zo stil.
Het huis is compleet ingericht met alles wat je maar bedenken kan voor een fijn verblijf. Boeken over de omgeving en folders voor uitstapjes . Wij hebben veel geluierd onder de druivenranken en dat beviel prima.
Het uitzicht vanaf de eerste verdieping in de vensterbank zittend op een lekker kussen...vergeet ik niet gauw... zo fijn..met verrekijker om vogels te spotten .
Kortom een dikke 10+.
Aardige eigenaren met een fijn ontvangst...die begrijpen wat een vakantie voor mensen betekent..rust ..ruimte.. stilte.
Lieve Rob en Wilga ik heb traan gelaten bij de terug reis...we komen zeker terug...voor het huis om het een x in herfst kleuren te zien... natuurlijk ook voor jullie lieve hond...wat een dot...Comment from Wilga Liekelema

Modern, fris en schoon huis. Prima keuken met goede apparatuur. Fijne woonkamer met heerlijke bank en eettafel. Een bed om in weg te dromen.
Een schaduwrijk terras waar je uren kan zitten, want het uitzicht is fantastisch! Een oorverdovende stilte op een bijzondere plek.

De rit naar de gites zorgt er al voor dat je in de vakantiestemming komt. Langs een krongelende weg door een landelijk landschap met de nodige diersoorten (wij hebben gespot een marter, herten, diverse vogelsoorten en uiteraard koeien) kom je aan in de prachtig gelegen gites. We zijn in deze week enorm uitgerust. Het landschap waarop je uitkijkt lijkt iedere dag wel in een andere kleur te verschijnen. Ook in de omgeving is genoeg te beleven. Het huisje voldoet aan alle gemakken.

For lovers of culture, architecture and art, there are many villages and hamlets in this region, numerous medieval castles and museums, and cultural-historic towns. One of those fun towns is the tourist town of Argentat, 10 minutes by car from Charlannes. The town is located on the Dordogne river; A true paradise for trout fishermen. Other nearby places to take place are the picturesque Museum Village Colonges-la-Rouge, the medieval town of Salers and of course Rocamadour.
