The house
On a hill in the Dordogne valley where the river meanders through the impressive landscape and near the medieval town of Argentat lies Domaine Le Teilhet. The domain lies on a sunny hill and has a nice mix of sea, land and Mediterranean climate. The winters are mild and the summers are hot but because there is usually a nice breeze it provides a pleasant coolness in summer.
At the Domaine, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views in peace. The Domaine, which was rebuilt in 1814 on the ruins of an old wine castle, offers three Gîtes in addition to a main house. It is a perfect base to discover everything the Correze region has to offer.
Our Gîte is suitable for 2 persons and is equipped with all comforts. This gîte is situated at the back of the Domaine and from the terrace you have a beautiful view over the valley. On the ground floor is a cozy fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.

The costs for breakfast are € 7,50- per person.
The breakfast is composed with local products and is the perfect start of a wonderful holiday day. We offer you a practical breakfast concept with which you have all the peace and freedom. The uniqueness of this concept is that you decide when you want to have breakfast. We ensure that the necessary products are present in the kitchen so that you can get started yourself. In this way, we prevent wastage and you enjoy maximum freedom. There is coffee (Nespresso & Classic filter coffee) and tea available.

The Corrèze with its beautiful Dordogne valley has a lot to offer, the lovely picturesque villages like Collognes-la-Rouge and Rocamadour. Also the beautiful nature with the impressive waterfalls of Gimel are worth visiting. In the immediate vicinity, you can go for lovely walks and visit the cosy markets in the region.

You can actively explore the surroundings on a bike or enjoy mountain biking, cycling and rock climbing at the Fia Ferrata. There are also many activities on the river to undertake, in the Corrèze it is all possible. In the immediate vicinity are enough possibilities to rent a canoe or SUP board. Lovers of fly fishing can also try their luck at the river.
There are also 4 beautiful golf courses in the area where you can go for a round of 9 or 18 holes.
