The house
Mille Joies is a converted old farmhouse on over 2 ha of land. There are 4 attached flats. Your gîte La Buse is spacious, 71m². In front of the door is a sunny terrace and next to it, under the large roof, is a large private terrace in the shade. From the gîte there is a beautiful view over the farmlands. The gîte is suitable for the disabled, the car can be driven up to the terrace.
The sitting area and the dining area in the large living room are cosy and comfortable, there is internet, a TV/DVD player and an audio set. There are two 3-seater sofas and a sofa bed. The kitchen of La Buse is optimally equipped for 6 people and has a large fridge with freezer compartment.
The bathroom is spacious, 7 m², and suitable for wheelchair users. As an adaptation, there is a large walk-in shower with fixed seat and support bar, raised toilet with support bar, wide doors without thresholds.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds.
There is heating in all rooms.

Mille Joies is situated on a dead-end road in the rolling landscape of the Corrèze/Limousin, surrounded by meadows and forests, streams and lakes. The wonderful climate in the Limousin, the green heart of France, has warm summers and cold winters. In the summer, the temperature drops to a pleasant level at night so that there is a lot of dew which keeps nature green.
At 7 km distance lies Lubersac, a large village with several supermarkets, the post office, terraces and eateries and a medical centre. Nearby are numerous small historic towns and picturesque villages. Large cities such as Brive and Limoges are half an hour's drive away. The area is ideal for walking and cycling.

Restaurants, food & wine
During the summer season, you have the opportunity to enjoy a meal with us several times a week. The menu and prices are posted on our information board well in advance. Usually we eat outside, but when the weather is less clement we eat under the roof. Because we have no lack of space we can eat 'safely', i.e. each family sits at its own table. There is enough space between the tables. Once a week you can join us for a BBQ. Here, too, it is possible to enjoy the buffet and the barbecue at an appropriate distance. For the children, there is a surprise as a conclusion of the meal.
Activities

You can use the swimming pool which is equipped with a safety fence. At the pool you will find sun loungers and deckchairs.
In our 'pig barn' there is a library with books and magazines. There are toys and games for young and old. It always stays cool in the 'pig barn', even when temperatures are high outside.
There is a table tennis table, a petanque court, a lawn for playing football or badminton. For children there is a play area with swings, a sandpit and a playhouse. From the terrace in front of the cottage you can overlook the children's playground.
The community room, where the information corner is, can be used for various activities. You can have a drink or eat an ice cream.

*No extra costs will be charged. So final cleaning (provided the cottage is left tidy), bed linen, kitchen linen and towels are free.
*The washing machine and dryer are for joint use.
*Because we have several gîtes, Mille Joies is a great place for groups or the whole family. We can then in consultation for breakfast, lunch and / or dinner.

Super vakantie gehad bij Ronald en Thea Landman. Niets was hun teveel. Geweldige gastvrijheid. 2x per week samen eten (als je wil) met de andere gasten. Heerlijk, echt een aanrader. Prachtig zwembad en vooral rust. Ronald haalt elke dag lekker vers brood voor je bij de bakker, wat een service. Een zeer ruime, schone, gite waar het je aan niets ontbreekt. Dit is echt een adres waar je zeker terug komt. Bedankt voor de super vakantie
