Le Coudert

Nestled in the quiet and peaceful countryside of the Correze, close to the Dordogne border, this charming four-bedroomed gite is located in a sunny position between the villages of Segonzac and St Robert.
This lovely barn conversion sits on a tree-lined drive surrounded by fields and woodlands and enjoys beautiful views, with no passing traffic.
On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining room with a cosy log burner for winter use, including: a large oak dining table seating 8, plus a highchair, an oak dresser unit, a cooker, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, plus all necessary utensils and a picnic basket for local evening food markets (a must for all summer visitors!).
A welcome pack of essentials is provided for our guests on arrival.
The large split-level living room has ample seating with a corner sofa, a TV, DVD/CD player, plus extra seating with games and books for quiet moments.
There is a separate downstairs toilet and an open-plan staircase to the first floor.

At the top of the stairs, you will find a large landing/seating area, perfect for curling up with a book.
There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a fan. There are cots available on request.
The 2 shower rooms have a toilet and sink. A baby bath is also available.
An outside balcony and staircase can be accessed from each of the 2 double bedrooms and offers an extra area to enjoy your morning coffee and croissant.
All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay.

Outside you will find a large parking space.
There is a pretty covered outdoor dining area with a BBQ and a patio area at the back of the gite.
The stunning, private swimming pool is 12×5 metres and is surrounded by hedging and wooden decking with sunbeds, parasols and seating, all with amazing views. The pool is now solar heated, but this will be dependent on the weather and therefore will be covered up during the winter months and reopens as soon as the weather allows
An outside clothes drier is provided and there are plenty of grassy areas for children to play.
For hot days the well-established trees around the property provide welcome shade.
The petanque area has proved popular with our guests.
We have now installed a pool kitchen and playroom for you and your children to enjoy cold drinks and a game of table tennis.
Wifi is available throughout the property.
Whilst the gite offers complete privacy, the owners live on-site, in a separate building, and are available if you require any help or assistance.

Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings at Le Coudert.
Undercover parking is available and electric car charging can be provided and will be charged on a daily basis.
