Ancienne Ecole in the Corrèze
The house is a former school, located at the highest point in the village of Troche, which lies in the hilly landscape of the Corrèze department, close to the Dordogne.

Large 1000m2 private garden
The house has a large private garden (1000 m2) full of old trees, shrubs, box hedges and a lawn to enjoy the glorious sunshine. The old barn has been converted in to a covered area and has plenty of shade during the day and is the ideal place to enjoy the peace and quiet during the evening. Garden furniture (sitting and reclining) is provided for 8 people. During summer there is a swimming pool (4,50 x 1,10) for a refreshing swim.

Providing all comforts
The huge 80 m2 living room is divided into a sitting, dining and kitchen area. With high ceilings the room is light and airy. It also has in-floor heating, a wood-burning stove and ambient lighting. With a 48 '' curved HD flat screen satellite TV with all UK channels, audio system, Apple TV to stream your audio or movies and Wi-Fi internet, being bored inside is nearly impossible. There is also a large wooden dining table to enjoy meals with family and friends.

Luxury Entertainment Space
The attic is converted into a spacious and luxurious 'Entertainment Room'. To offer even more comfort to our guests we have created an ideal place to watch films (by Apple tv of Netflix), listen to music or play a game of table tennis, or perhaps to just get away from it all. Or maybe you can send the kids upstairs to this amazing space, and finally enjoy 'grown up' time in downstairs!

The latest technology
The entertainment room (100 m2) is completely darkened in an instant. On a big screen a powerful overhead HD Projector displays films by Apple TV or Netflix, HD satellite TV (incl. Film1- & family subscription). The powerful surround system will make you believe that you're in a real cinema. There is a hard disk present with more than 100 movies in popular genres. For the more sporty there is table tennis, and two heavy air conditioning units will keep the temperature just right. The downstairs living room and the entertainment room both have AirPort Express to stream to your laptop (e.g. iTunes). Satellite TV with several channels, including Film1- and family plan.

Sleeping in old school style
The first floor has it's characteristic atmosphere of the past preserved and is possibly even accentuated. The four bedrooms are each equipped with comfortable box spring mattresses. The rooms have high windows with views over the garden to the south and the picturesque village, Troche. On arrival the beds are already made up., so your vacation can begin immediately!

Bathrooms
The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom area with toilet, washbasin and a large bath. All bedrooms have large closets with suitable hanging space for clothes. Two of the bedrooms have a washbasin. The family bathroom at the first floor's hallway has a large double shower, washbasin and toilet. Also this bathroom has a heated towel rail. There are 5 toilets in total: at the ground floor entry, in the hall, at the end of the first floor corridor and one in each of the two bathrooms.
