The house
Luxury holiday villa in the Dordogne, France for 8 to 10 people, with large walk-in pool for young and old.
Souleillou is a recently renovated home, tastefully furnished for 10 people. On the ground floor is a characteristic veranda of 32m2, with a build in barbecue/fire place, which makes a comfortable sitting area during summers with view of the swimming pool and large terrace. From the terrace you walk through the French doors into the cosy, fully equipped French Kitchen. Here you can prepare delicious French dishes and serve them in the attractive living room .The living room and kitchen are 48m2 large. On the first floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with shower and wc. There is another double bedroom on the ground floor with ensuite bathroom, complete with two person walk-in shower, bath and wc.

Wij brachten hier samen met onze vrienden (in totaal 11 personen) een heel ontspannende week door. Het huis (met gite) was perfect ingedeeld voor onze groep (elk gezin had zijn eigen badkamer) en er was in alle slaapkamers airco aanwezig, geen overbodige luxe bij 2 dagen van 42 graden. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust met voldoende potten een pannen. Verder was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt om een zorgeloze vakantie te beleven. Het was aangenaam vertoeven op het overdekte terras dat voorzien was van ventilatoren aan het plafond. De grote tuin is zeer mooi onderhouden met een mooie bloemenpracht en er was altijd wel ergens schaduw te vinden. De grootste troef is zonder twijfel het grote zwembad waar we dagelijks van genoten hebben! Ook in de directe omgeving is er voldoende te doen voor groot en klein. We hebben elke dag genoten van dit mooie verblijf!

Geweldig huis. Heel gezellig ingericht. Je voelt je gelijk thuis. Zeer mooie en grote tuin. Alle voorzieningen in ruime mate aanwezig. Eigenaren altijd bereikbaar en ontzettend aardig. Zwembad super. Buiten bbq super. Wij hebben met zowel grote als kleine kleinkinderen echt genoten. Geen enkel minpunt. Een echte aanrader!Mimi from Leuven,
Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, een huis met alles erop en eraan zoals airco en muggenramen, beste zwembad ooit, veel speelgoed en speelgelegenheid voor de kinderen.. .Prima vakantieadres!
Restaurants, food & wine
You are in the Perigord with as nearest well known cities: Bergerac (20 min), Saint-Emilio (25 min) and Bordeaux (60min). Many wine areas and wine chateaux which are worth a visit such as Montravel, Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pécharmant, Saint-Emilion. Activities
Beautiful walking routes through the vineyards or along the Dordogne river, mountain bike routes, swimming (swimming pool), playing tennis (tennis court at 1km), golf (golf court 20 km).
Water activities: fishing (1km) in the Dordogne, theme park (18km), museums (10km) historical/archeological sites (1km). There are mountain bikes available for rent. Fishing is possible in the Dordogne river, only 1 km from the house.
For children there is a play set with swings and slide, a sandbox and possibility to build a hut.
There is enough space to practise all sorts of sports. Many wine chateaux which are worth a visit near by. Also eating out, in restaurants which are reasonably priced and that use many regional products. Have a look at the site: http://www.dordogne.nl/en/
You are in the Dordogne with as nearest, well known cities Bergerac (20min), Saint-Emilion (25min) and Bordeaux (60min).Wine areas such as Montravel, Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pécharmant and Saint-Emilion are worth a visit. There are also many French markets in the area. At the farmers market of St Foy la grande (6 km) the delicious local dishes can be bought directly from the farmer.

Additional price info and offers
These prices apply for up to 8 people in low season, we ask for a surcharge for the separate suite with private bathroom and double walk-in shower plus bath and wc, adjacent to the house.
In High season the prices for 10 people apply which include the separate suite.
Other price information/offers:
Please bring you own bath and bed linen. In case you arrive by airplane we offer bath- and bedlinen for rent at 20 euros p.p.
Energy costs are included in the rental price. In low season a surcharge applies. Besides the rental price possible cleaning costs in low season are 100 euros and in high season 120 euros. If preferred you can clean the house yourself. The safety deposit is 400 euros and will be refunded within two weeks if everything in the house is as you found it upon arrival.
Change over day in high season is Saturday. In other periods arrival and departure days are determined in consultation.
Pets and smoking in the house are not allowed. Pets can sleep in the utility room or under the the large veranda during the day.
This renovated village has been successfully rented out since 2013.
