The house
The holiday cottage “Pas de Soucis” is a charming 300 years old stone cottage. This perfectly restored cocoon will comfortably welcome 3 guests.
On the ground floor you will be enchanted by its open plan living room, with seating area with TV set, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen, with fridge, oven/grill, hob and dishwasher. The old oak staircase leads to the large upstairs bedroom with king size bed and daybed and ensuite shower room (shower, toilet and sink).
Its pleasant covered terrace with garden furniture opens onto the park. Further covered terrace with table seating 12. The large heated en electronically secured swimming pool shared with the guests of the B&B “Le Moulin Bertrand” is open from the end of May to the end of September. With its beach and sunbeds it will invite you to relax after your visits and other activities. The park, with its secured wells, and its hundred-year-old trees, is completely surrounded by small brooks and a mill race, populated with populated with carps and terrapins will invite you to try your fishing skills.
Info Covid-19: In order to minimize person-to-person contact there are key lockboxes at the front door of our gites, allowing self check-in and checkout.
The gite is cleaned and disinfected between reservations according to the guidelines of the Ribérac Tourist Board.
On request, we propose a 3-course table d'hôtes (dinner special), including wine and coffee/tea for 24,5€/p.

Just a step from the market town of Ribérac, in Green Périgord, you will appreciate the charm and beauty of this former walnut mill. Situated in its 4 acres of parkland, between the mill race and the Vieille Pechay river, the two holiday cottages, “Le Moulin Bertrand” and “Pas de Soucis” are ideal for nature lovers. Out of sight of inquisitive eyes, the swimming pool with its beach will refresh you on warm summer afternoons. The covered terrace will provide an alternative for dining among friends and relatives on balmy evenings, while the kids will have their games room all to themselves.

In dit land van zonnebloemen, mais en bossen staat "Le Moulin Bertrand" met Gites des Hôtes en "Pas de Soucis" gerund door Gaby en Werner. We hebben 2 weken geleefd in "Pas de Soucis", genoten van de gesprekken over hoe de verschillende Europeanen kijken tegen de moderne tijd en het leven in Europa. Op het terras werden we regelmatig bezocht door Tabby, een echte Knuffelpoes. We kregen er een echt vakantiegevoel. Terug thuis hebben we weer moeten wennen aan het huiselijk ritme, dus het was goed! 's Nachts nog wat Plejaden gezien en een ongelofelijke hoeveelheid sterren. Wat hebben we in de BeNeLux toch een lichtvervuiling! Samengevat: een heerlijke vakantie! Dank jullie wel, Gaby & Werner.

Het huisje voldoet aan alle verwachtingen! De eigenaren zijn bijzonder aardig en hulpvaardig. Wij hebben nog wat tips gegeven en daar stonden zij prima open voor! Ik denk dat het na de volledige verbouwing van ook de achtertuin en eventueel verwarming van het zwembad een prachtig paradijsje gaat worden. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is het meer dan waard! Wij bevelen het aan.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le magnifique moulin de Werner et Gaby.
L'accueil fut très chaleureux, l'endroit est vraiment au calme, dans un petit vallon entouré de champs et de patures, avec le ruisseau qui court en bord de propriété. On voit les écureuils le matin, les chouettes et chauve souris le soir. On mange entre l'ancienne meule ou sous une vieille charpente. Bref un charme fou à ce moulin
Côté facilités tout est là : cuisine hyper complète, literie très confortable, chambres spacieuses, jeux pour les enfants.
La piscine a été particulièrement appréciée. Elle n'est cependant pas chauffée.

The gite "Pas de Soucis" is a less than 10 minutes drive away from the pleasant town of Ribérac, where you can choose between a wide range of restaurants. You can easily reach the wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux by car, just as the nearby Charente, where the Cognac and Pineau are waiting for you to taste.
