Beautiful detached house, called la Maison du Pont (the house by the bridge), located in a quiet natural setting near the village of Savignac Ledrier at 919 km from Utrecht. The large garden is fully fenced. Free Wifi access. Dogs are welcome. Open fireplace. Air conditioning throughout the house. Many free extras, see comments/extra.
The holiday home is suitable for 5 adults and a baby/toddler and is situated on 3000 m2 of private land and used to belong to the castle further away. The garden has a wellness area with a hot tub with bubbles, seating and a bar, a gazebo with a canopy, seating and a chill area inside with seating, TV/DVD player, electric fireplace, terraces in various places, a swimming pool (366 diameter) with sun loungers, a children's pool, playground, sand and water table, fire basket and BBQ.
The spacious garden is completely fenced and has a gate with railings and walkway at the front and is sheltered by trees, shrubs and woods all around. From the garden you can walk straight into the woods and make a round trip along the river (great for fishing), the castle and old iron foundry and to Savignac Ledrier itself for a drink or ice cream on the terrace or a delicious lunch or dinner.

The beds are already made on arrival. Kitchen and bath linen is also provided. As well as extra bedding/bedding. There are various tourist attractions (subtropical swimming paradise (indoor and outdoor), amusement parks, castles, caves, canoeing, horse riding), picturesque villages and towns (such as Sarlat and Montignac) in the vicinity. A lake with sandy beach and sports activities can be found 10 km from the house. Golf les Essendieras at 17 km. Every town or village has a weekly market and there is always a brocante or flea market somewhere. In short, plenty to do, but also plenty of peace and quiet for those who prefer it.
When booking you will receive info, opening times and addresses of tourist attractions, supermarkets, Restaurants etc.. All info is also in the house.

LIVING ROOM
The cosy living room of 40 m2 has a sitting area with atmospheric fireplace, satellite TV, a large dining area, children's corner with toys and a sitting area by the fireplace.
There is also air conditioning throughout the house (hot and cold air).

For extra fun, the following is provided:
Netflix, DVD player, record player with singles and LPs, portable Radio-CD player, shuffleboard. Books, games, DVDs and CDs for all ages.
Wicker chest with indoor and outdoor toys such as tennis rackets, bocce ball, etc. The red barrel contains toys for toddlers.

The kitchen is 18 m2 with a round dining area, large fridge, separate freezer with 4 drawers, dishwasher, induction hob, combi-oven/microwave, extra microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, kettle, toaster, kitchen scale, blender, baking utensils, gourmet set, large griddle, washing machine/dryer, ironing board, iron, hoover, drying rack, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc.

SANITARY
The bathroom is equipped with a shower cubicle, vanity unit, bath towels, hairdryer, heater. There is a separate toilet.

BEDROOMS
1 bedroom with double bed 160x200 (1 mattress) with wardrobe, dressing table.
1 bedroom with 2 90x200 single beds with linen cupboard, cot, 2 highchairs, playpen.
There are extra pillows and single and double duvets and plenty of bed, bath and kitchen linen.

GARDEN AND TERRACE
Around the house is a spacious garden with, adjacent to the kitchen, a terrace with garden furniture, electric sunshade, large parasol and a stone BBQ.
There is also a 2nd terrace with 2 party tents including a garden set, swimming pool, diameter 366 cm, children's pool and sandpit. Next to this terrace is a swing set and a small playground with 2 swings, a slide and seesaw. For toddlers, there is a small swing and slide.
In a corner of the garden is a 3rd terrace with seating so you always have sun or shade.
At the back of the house is a firepit with log seat. There is also the woodshed.
An extra garden set, parasol, pool equipment, sand and water table, football and kitchen supplies are in the basement.
