The house
The cottage is picturesquely situated on a southern hill surrounded by a beautiful scenery. From the north it is sheltered by the hill, covered with trees. The size of the property is around 18,000 m2.
Here you can enjoy, in all privacy, this little paradise while being only 1,2 km away from the centre of Villefranche du Périgord.
There is ample opportunity to walk through the woodlands and explore the countryside by bike.
In Villefranche du Périgord you will find a variety of shops like bakeries, a butcher, some super markets and a hardware store. There are three restaurants where you will enjoy local dishes.
There is a health centre and a pharmacy.
For extensive shopping - within close proximity - you can go to the hypermarchés in Fumel and Siorac du Périgord.
The well-known tourist places like Monpazier, Domme, La Linde, Les Eyzies, Sarlat, Cahors, Perigeux, and Bergerac are worth paying a visit.

We verbleven deze zomer in het vakantiehuis van de familie de Jongh in Bourgale (Villefranche du Périgord). Het huis biedt alle comfort en heeft alle basisfaciliteiten. Onze jongens genoten van het zwembad, wij van de rust in de groene omgeving. Het contact met de familie de Jongh verloopt ook vlot en er is ter plaatse veel informatie voorzien omtrent het gebruik van het huis en de activiteiten in de regio. In de omgeving is vanalles te doen voor de kinderen, van een kasteelbezoek tot een bezoek aan grotten of flinke wandelingen in de bosrijke omgeving. Je vindt ook vele leuke, pittoreske dorpjes in de nabijheid. Of het mooie Rocamadour iets verder gelegen. We kijken heel positief terug op onze vakantie en de mooie Dordogne streek.

Deze zomer zijn we te gast geweest in het vakantiehuis van Familie de Jongh in Bourgale. Een heerlijke vakantie in een oase van rust! Het huis is mooi gelegen, ingeklemd tussen een (privé)bos en een zacht glooiende helling. De inrichting is prettig, met moderne faciliteiten. Wat ook fijn aan het huis is, is dat het goed geïsoleerd is en zomers dus koel binnen! Naast het huis ligt een heerlijk zwembad, compleet met parasols en avondverlichting, waar we elke dag in gelegen hebben. De omgeving is erg mooi, ook om te wandelen en natuurlijk vanwege de attracties van de Dordogne regio.
Kortom: een heerlijke plek om op vakantie te zijn.
