The house
A holiday by the sea in France this year? Then look no further. In our cozy cottage (attached and about 35 m2) located on the dunes and less than 5 minutes walk from the sea, you can fully enjoy the sun, sea & beach. The holiday home is situated in a small holiday park, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. Within walking distance, you will also find shops, restaurants, terraces and much more fun. The mild climate of Les Landes ensures a pleasant stay all year round. The distance from Amsterdam is about 1200 kilometres.

The holiday home is located in a small holiday park, less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. In July and August there is a market every morning and evening in Biscarrosse Plage. Outside the high season there is a market on Saturday mornings. The baker, the greengrocer and the fishmonger but also a supermarket are all within walking distance. A really big supermarket (hypermarché) can be found in Biscarrosse Bourg (about 5 km). In the immediate vicinity and within walking distance are many pleasant terraces, bars and restaurants. Also in the immediate vicinity: many cycling and walking paths, golf course and surf school.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La petite maison est très bien située, très près de la plage et à 5mn à pied du centre de biscarrosse. La maison est très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Le propriétaire répond rapidement aux mails.
Restaurants, food & wine
Bordeaux, a beautiful historical city and also a fantastic starting point for a tour through the Haut Medoc where most of the top wines come from. A tour through the wine regions is also an experience for those who do not like wine. In the immediate vicinity and within walking distance are many cosy terraces, bars and restaurants where you can eat and drink.
Activities
There is much to see and do in the area. The Atlantic coast with its big waves is extremely suitable for wave surfing. In Biscarrosse, there are several schools where golf surfing is taught. About 5 km from our holiday home, there is a beautiful 27-hole golf course in the middle of the dunes. Thanks to the mild climate, you can play golf here all year round. Because of the sandy soil, architects have been able to give the golf course original shapes, making it suitable for beginners and advanced players. Les Landes has more than 50 km of cycling paths along the coast. There are several routes, including a beautiful route through the dunes to La Dune de Pilat. This is the highest dune of Europe. The lake of Biscarrosse is 5 km away. The lake has beautiful clear water. The first 200 m the lake is shallow and therefore ideal for small children. Also for water sports like sailing, water skiing and windsurfing this is an ideal location.
