The house
In the middle of the still authentic French countryside, this holiday home gives you the opportunity to unwind.
The Fermette, anno 1820, has been traditionally renovated with style and an eye for detail.
The gite consists of three bedrooms (one on the ground floor with a double bed)
And on the first floor a children's room with bunk beds and a large
bedroom, with double bed, and its own washbasin and direct access to the second toilet),
A fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, a small oven, dishwasher, fridge, hob, kettle, coffee machine,...
Bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and separate walk-in shower.
Cosy sitting area with a wood-burning stove, and garden doors .
Large stylish living room with dining table and sitting area by the fireplace.
A hallway with a second toilet.
The house is at the end of a small hamlet with magnificent views.
The large garden has a beautiful fruit garden with various kinds of fruit
and there is a lovely pond next to the swimming pool with terrace.
The landlord grows table grapes and kiwis and can tell you all about it while enjoying his own Pineau de Charente.

This holiday home is located in the south of the Vienne, a department of the Nouvelle Aquitaine.
An authentic environment with a very varied view on the many lakes, forests and meadows with the beautiful Limousin cows.
Discover the diversity of bird sounds and hear the call of the fox, wild boar, pheasant and/or deer from your lounger in the garden.
Or go out, on foot, by bike or in the car and be amazed at the peace and quiet and the many beautiful places where you can walk, picnic
photographing, fishing.... Discover the small villages with their lovely boulangeries where the smell of freshly baked bread always makes you buy too much bread
or the small restaurants where you can have a four-course meal for little money, alone or with other villagers.
Every 29th of the month there is the largest cattle market in France, Les Herolles, 15 minutes drive away, where you can have a glass of wine with the French farmer at noon.

We hebben hier met het gezin een hele fantastische week gehad. Wat een ruimte. Hele grote mooie tuin met trampoline, jeu de boules baan, zwembad. Boomgaard. Fantastisch uitzicht. De gast vrouw en heer hele lieve aardige mensen. We werden verwend met verse groenten tomaten en eitjes van hun kippen. Kregen op de terugweg nog een bak met Cherry tomaatjes mee . Heerlijk vol van smaak.Het huis zelf ook geweldig ruim heerlijke badkamer ruime woonkamer ruime keuken. Trouwens weinig gebruikt hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van de BBQ en hete plaat en inductie kookplaat buiten.
Ja was geweldig fantastisch super plek. Komen hier zeker terug. En dat doen we eigenlijk nooit. Maar hier wel. En alles was lekker schoon. Zeer veel waarde voor de prijs die je betaalt.
En ja schitterende zons ondergang
Inge en Jurgen super bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid we hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Ik zal nog wel wat vergeten zijn maar ja was ook zo veel goeds. Oja Spike onze Franse bulldog heeft daar ook een geweldige tijd gehad. Wat een vrijheid en ruimte had hij daar.

Heerlijke plek! Je voelt je welkom in de gite die prachtig is gerenoveerd. Alles is er: 2 barbecues en een volledige buitenkeuken, zwembad, opgemaakte bedden, fijne handdoeken en een welkomstdrankje in de ijskast! Door omstandigheden wilden we eerder komen en dit was geen enkel probleem. Inge en Jurgen bedankt voor de fijne dagen.

Fantastische plek! Vriendelijk ontvangen. Wat echt opvalt is dat de gite heel erg mooi is opgeknapt door de eigenaren met oog voor mooie materialen en authentieke meubels, mooie slaapkamers, fijne badkamer met grote douche cabine met regendouche en een bad. Je kan in de ochtend heerlijk op het overdekte terras / veranda ontbijten met vers brood uit de omgeving. 's Avonds bbq-en op een gas- of houtskool bbq. Kinderen kunnen zwemmen, springen op een grote trampoline of struinen in de grote tuin en aangelegen weilanden/bos.
Kortom een absolute aanrader!
