Marianne and Luke will be happy to welcome you in their Domaine of the 17th century by the Canal du Midi in the Port of Bram. Our area is ideally located to discover the department of Aude and the historical Cathar country. A few minutes from Carcassonne, not far from Toulouse, between the Black Mountains and the Pyrenees, whether you are traveling or on holiday, our domain will can your ideal basis for this discovery.
The house is set on 1 hectare of park with a swimming pool and spa. Our estate has been renovated to the highest standard for you to spend an unforgettable time.

Bicycles are available for rent to allow you to explore the area close to the Domaine.
In the near surroundings, many cultural and sporting activities are available.
Enjoy your stay to visit the many Cathar castles, go for a bike ride along the Canal du Midi or enjoy the village festivals held in summer.

Wij (2+3: 19,17,17j) hebben in juli een fantastische week gehad in dit prachtige landgoed dat met veel liefde en groot gevoel voor stijl door Luc en Marianne is aangelegd. Ons appartement (BdC) is zeer ruim en biedt alle comfort op 4/5 sterren niveau. Het terras aan de tuinzijde biedt voldoende privacy en mooi vrij uitzicht op de prachtige tuin met bloeiende planten en mooie bomen. Het zwembad is groot genoeg, zeer schoon met voldoende faciliteiten.
Luc en Marianne weten wat gastvrijheid is en spreken goed engels. De tweede avond gaven zij een borrel aan het zwembad aan hun gasten. Luc heeft er veel plezier om de echte hoogtepunten uit de omgeving te duiden en die waren de moeite waard! Er zijn 6 fietsen beschikbaar, waarmee we een mooie tocht langs het naastgelegen eeuwen oude kanaal-du-midi met al zijn sluizen hebben gemaakt. Het diner bij het chateau Gayda, midden in de wijngaarden, was top, om nooit te vergeten. Behalve Carcassone zelf (leuk muziek festival), was de Abdij Font-froid zeer de moeite waard, ook voor de kinderen.
Kortom een heerlijke plek in een interessante omgeving, waar we graag nog eens terugkomen.
