The house
Maison de la Roche is an restored old farm house in the heart of a wine making village called Ferrals les Corbieres . The Upper Gite Jardin Violet shares a landing with the other Upper Gite Jardin Bleu which does make it also ideal for families or friends holidaying together - There is a huge open plan sitting room, dining and kitchen area with views over the courtyard. Cosy and well equipped, a peaceful retreat after a day's sightseeing
Please note that the gites are reached by a steep staircase which may be unsuitable for some people. Please check with us before booking

In the heart of a rural village but near a town for all your shopping needs . Also about a 7 minute drive to the motorway which gets you everywhere ! (You can not hear the motor way from the village- so near but not that near!)

We have two absolutely fabulous restaurants here - one high end and one a grillard . Both are authentic French cuisine and my guests may go several times during their stay. We also have a delicious boulangerie. However we are surrounded by villages with many great restaurants and further a field in Narbonne or by the beaches you are truly spoilt
Activities
We can organise all sorts of activities . Our most popular are the wine and tapas tastings held at the gites or be picked up and go on a fabulous tour of the countryside stopping off at hidden but high quality wineries to taste and learn more about the local wine. Lunch is included in these tours. We can also organise historical tours whether it be about the Cathars or Da Vinci code inspired!

Further remarks
If you enjoy food, wine, nature and history then this really is the ideal place
Teenagers and toddlers will also be spoilt for choice with the zip wire, water parks, zoo and water sports activities near by
But my favourite spot is a nearby river with lots of mini cascades which everyone loves and is free!
