The house
The Gîte, in the former hay barn, has been designed with your comfort in mind while maintaining authenticity. The style is rural. The gîte has 2 floors. Being 8m high there, we have beautiful high ceilings with sturdy oak wooden beams. On the ground floor are located:
- the cloakroom
- the lounge
- the luxury kitchen with cooker, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, tea towels, etc.
- the dining room
The staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you will find:
- the bedrooms with 1 double bed and wardrobe and 1 with 2
single beds with wardrobe. There is room for adding
a cot.
- the bathroom with washbasin and shower
- and a separate toilet with fountain
The cottage is equipped with atmospheric lighting, bed linen, towels and a stove for chilly evenings and mornings. On arrival, your bed will have been made for you and all you have to do is unpack your suitcase.
The Gîte can be heated and cooled with air conditioning.
Present: bed linen, towels, Wifi, gas, electricity, cooker, cot and high chair. For a small fee you can use the washing machine and dryer (available next to the gîte).

La Maison au Romarin is a more than 200 years old farmhouse in the department Aveyron. In the renovated house our parents enjoy the 4 seasons in the south of France. The barn has been converted into a house where I live with my family. Together with my sister we run the mini camping with some pitches, safari tents and the gîte which is situated in the former hay barn. We look out over mountains and valleys, a large swimming lake/fishpond and farmland. The lake is under our own management. It is surrounded by fruit trees that produce our own jams, compotes, pie fillings and eau de vie. With us you can enjoy French hospitality and nature. Whether you are looking for a spot in the garden with a book, or looking for fun on the lake, whether you are exploring the surroundings on your own or make use of the excursions, walking routes, picnics, it is all up to you. Een heerlijke week verbleven wij in de gite van familie van Boven.
Een fijne, schone, ruime gite die van alle gemakken voorzien is. Op het mooie en ruime terrein hebben onze kinderen zich prima kunnen vermaken en zijn er allerlei spelletjes tot uw beschikking, zwemmen in het meer was ook heerlijk! U kunt zich geen betere gastvrouw treffen, we werden enorm gastvrij ontvangen en kregen we veel informatie over de omgeving waardoor we veel leuke plekken hebben kunnen bezoeken. De spelletjes en pannenkoeken op woensdag is een aanrader, super gezellig en lekker. Kortom: heerlijke week in een prachtige omgeving bij een zeer gastvrije familie =aanrader!Comment from Fam. Dat doet ons altijd veel plezier wanneer gasten het heel erg naar hun zin hebben gehad. En helemaal om dit terug te lezen, dank je wel Cindy. Inmiddels zijn we al weer druk bezig met de volgende projecten. Je weet dat wij ieder jaar proberen iets nieuws te creëren voor het volgende seizoen. Ik hoop jullie dan weer te mogen ontvangen. Dank jullie wel voor de gezelligheid en de hulp met de pruimenoogst voor de Eau-de-Vie van volgend jaar. Wie weet hebben we dan inmiddels onze eigen Lambic. Heel veel groetjes van ons allemaal!!!

Wij hebben van 12 juni tot 1 juli het genoegen gehad om in de gite te verblijven. We hebben een hele leuke vakantie gehad. Het huisje was zeer compleet ingericht en keurig schoon. De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk en we hebben ook een paar keer met de familie in de tuin gezellig wat met elkaar gedronken. Kortom, het is zeer goed bevallen, zeker een aanrader.

Wij hebben een hele fijne week gehad in de Gite van La maison au Romarin.
De Gite is mooi en erg schoon. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig - zo was ook gedacht aan dingen als voldoende haakjes voor de handdoeken, pannenlappen, een fan en een extra paar handdoeken.
De minicamping was niet geopend tijdens ons verblijf, maar we konden gewoon gebruik maken van de grote trampoline, de picknicktafels met parasol, het grasveld en het meertje met een soort van kiezelstrandje.
Patricia van Boven en haar familie hebben ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen. En ze maakten tijd voor ons vrij voor een ontvangst met thee, aardbeienlimonade en cake, boogschieten en marshmallows eten met de kinderen!
De omgeving is prachtig: de Gite is prachtig gelegen. Daarnaast zijn er veel mooie dorpjes, stadjes en kastelen om te bezoeken.

Your partner, father, mother, grandfather and or grandmother can then stay here while you can go and visit or do something that otherwise would not be possible.

Besides some pitches, we also rent out fully equipped Safari tents. Here too, your bed is made for you on arrival and all you have to do is unpack your suitcase. In short, carefree and luxurious camping.
