MAISON OLIVIER

Our recently (completely) renovated 'Maison Olivier' is definitely a French sturdy & charming holiday home for 2 to 12 people. Maison Olivier is built from the typical old natural stones you find everywhere in the artists' village of Cornillon. The oldest part of this house dates back to the 15th century. You enter Maison Olivier through the large gate where your eye will immediately fall on the breathtaking view from the garden. This large garden is partly enclosed by the old city wall. At the swimming pool, you are in total privacy, but at the large dining table you can enjoy a fantastic view over the valley.

An old stone staircase leads to the 1st floor:
- a cosy lounge with spacious corner sofa and the many windows here give direct views of the valley. Adjacent is a spacious open-plan kitchen with a large dining table for 12.
- 2 bedrooms, of which 1 bedroom with bathroom en suite, equipped with separate toilet, washbasin with mirror, washing machine and dryer.
- an attractive bathroom, spacious shower, 2 washbasins and separate toilet
- a small cosy covered terrace with old church pew
On the 2nd floor :
- 3 spacious bedrooms + landing with two single beds
- a bathroom with shower, 1 washbasin and mirror, a separate toilet.
(On the ground floor are the old caves (these are closed)

Maison Olivier is situated in a protected monumental village which will be on the list of France's most beautiful villages next year: Cornillon. What makes Maison Olivier unique is its very quiet location in the unique artists' village.

Outside you will find a lovely, large garden with sublime views. Here you will find a lovely saltwater pool 750 x 390 with a cosy lounge area and 6 sunbeds. The pool has a fence for children's safety. At 200m is a playground. In the beautiful garden are a few olive trees, jeu-de-boule court and of course the large dining table overlooking the valley. You will find sun and shade all day long. In the garage there are some fitness machines you can use. Maison Olivier is in a very quiet location.

Around Cornillon is a beautiful walking area, only 2.5 km away is the river La Cèze. And with 4 km you are already in the centre of Goudargues. The nearest supermarket is at the foot of the village at 2 km. The village is pedestrianised (compulsory parking = 200m from the house), the streets are very narrow. You can get to the house for loading and unloading, though.

The spacious open kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob cooking zones/burners, extractor hood, cutlery & crockery, toaster, 2x Nespresso machine, fridge-freezer, cooking utensils, microwave, oven, dishwasher and a kettle.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms have a double bed, 200 x 160 cm. In 2 bedrooms there are two single beds, 200 x 80 cm and this also applies to the so-called landing area. In total there are 12 sleeping places.

Outdoor facilities: narrow covered terrace, large garden, large swimming pool, outdoor lighting, six sun beds, six garden chairs, large garden table for 14 people, plancha.
