The house
Mas La Tuilerie is a comfortable and attractively furnished holiday home on the edge of the Cevennes. The house is located on a southern slope and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. In this authentic Cevenol Mas they used to keep cattle, breed silkworms and bake roof tiles (tuiles). Details in the house still remind of this time.
The Mas can accommodate 8 people. In addition, a cot can be added. There are 4 spacious bedrooms and the Mas has 3 bathrooms.
The ground floor houses a living room, bathroom, kitchen, utility room and a dining room. On the first floor, which can be reached via two staircases in the house, there is a bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bedroom with two single beds. On the second floor there is a very spacious bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom.
All three bathrooms have a shower, sink and toilet.
In the spacious, green garden with fig, olive and banana trees, there is a trampoline, a swimming pool and a basketball ring. You can dine in the shade of the big lime tree and there are comfortable sun beds and a lounging set to relax.

Zalig huisje! Alles aanwezig. Goede bedden! Airco was een pluspunt met deze hittegolf. Zwembad prima in orde. In de tuin veel schaduwplekken. Huisje is echt zoals op de foto's. Toffe omgeving, minder toeristisch dan Ardèche of Provence, maar daarom niet minder mooi. Veeeeeeeeeel lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt te vinden! Wij hadden spijt dat we maar 1 weekje geboekt hadden. Zeer aangenaam en vlot contact ook met de eigenaars!

Een heerlijk ruim huis, schitterend uitzicht. Een heerlijk buitenterras onder de boom. Met de auto kan je naar leuke stadjes. Het huis is met zorg ingericht. We hebben genoten.

Mooi groot huis met een leuk zwembad in een mooie omgeving. Gezellig buitenterras. Rustig gelegen maar met de auto zyn er vele leuke plekken om naartoe te gaan.

Mas La Tuilerie is situated in the Gard, on the edge of 'Les Cévennes', a versatile destination in the South of France. A region with a lot of nature, a rough landscape of green wooded slopes, rough rivers and rocky valleys. A region of extremes too, with a chance of snow in the winter and plenty of sun and heat in the summer. The Cevennes is a region where man has long allowed himself to be led by the rhythm of nature, which you can clearly see in the annual migration of the sheep herds.
The rough, extensive green wooded hills and remote valleys form a beautiful walking landscape. In the Cevennes, there are many walking routes, and of course, you can also compose your own route. The region is also home to many lovely villages and towns! Discover for example Saint-Martial in the south of the region, one of the most beautiful villages of France. Many villages are situated on a hillside, or look out over the surroundings. In terms of towns, Anduze, just 10 kilometres from Mas La Tuilerie, should not be missing from your list. An ideal place to enjoy a nice drink or a typical regional dish under the sun.
The Mas is also well situated to explore neighbouring regions and cities. For example, Nîmes, situated in the beautiful nature reserve of Carrigue, is within reach, as is the historical and atmospheric town of Uzès. The cosmopolitan Montpellier is an hour's drive away, as are the nearby beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. The historic city of Avignon can be reached in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

FURTHER RENTAL CONDITIONS
On arrival/departure Saturdays: arrival from 17.00 hrs and departure no later than 09.30 hrs. On other arrival/departure days: arrival and departure times to be determined by mutual agreement.
Any damage or missing furniture will be deducted from the deposit.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in the mas.
