The house
This self catering holiday home is set in an old gatekeeper's house. It has three bedrooms and a total surface living area of 180 m². The house was completely renovated and modernized in 2017. The interior has been updated and is equipped with a very spacious and modern kitchen and bathroom with all possible amenities.
The house has no floor and has no threshold inside. The three bedrooms can be made into double or twin bedrooms at your request.

The holiday home is part of a chateau. The original building dates back to the 18th century.
The gite stands on its own plot of land, giving it a lot of privacy, with a garden surrounded by many trees, but also offering beautiful views to enjoy. It is is ideally suited for couples or families who are in search of a peaceful holiday, lots of space, privacy in a natural setting. Bird watchers will enjoy it here!
Thanks to its beautiful location at the highest point of the surrounding area, there are magnificent views to enjoy, some days all the way to the Pyrenees.
The gite is part of an estate consisting of only a few houses. The nearest village with shops is 7 kilometers away. The area is very quiet, with small forests and a lot of agriculture. To the delight of the landlords, this agriculture has become mainly organic in recent years.
There are beautiful birds to be spotted, but also other small and large game. The ever-changing colors of nature in the area are a source of pleasure for any nature lover.

Wat een heerlijke, luxe gite! De keuken is van allen gemakken voorzien en de zitkamer is comfortabel, met een inrichting die een mengeling is tussen moderne en sfeervolle elementen. Buiten is een tuin met veel privacy.
In de omgeving kun je uitstapjes maken naar mooie plaatsjes en de (geoefende) fietser komt ook aan z’n trekken.
Kortom, een gite waar we zeker nog een keer terug willen komen en die we van harte kunnen aanbevelen!

The gite is located in the area of the Haut Armagnac and close to the Bas Armagnac and Tenaréze.
Colombelle, Tariquet, Saint Sardos are wines from the nearby area.
There are several good restaurants within a reasonable distance, for instance Nazére (Avezan), Bardigues, Les Templier (Dunes).
