The house
In our country house, you have a self-contained gite, with carport, private entrance and sunny terrace with a beautiful view of the Pyrenees and nature.
The gite consists of a stylishly furnished living room with kitchenette. A romantic bedroom with double bed (1.60) and spacious wardrobe. We provide the bed linen, so your bed is made upon arrival.
A luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet and built-in washbasin all in pierre natural colour. Bath towels are available and you don't need to bring them or wash them, we take care of that.

Peace, space, nature and good food.
Since 1998 we have lived in this beautiful, quiet part of France, at the foot of the Pyrenees, which is characterised by softly rolling hills, with the mountains in the background.
It is our desire to share this good French country life with others and as far as it lies in our power to give you a nice holiday.
La Source is a wonderful place to take a break from all the hustle and bustle. It is located in a rural, quiet area with lots of nature.
In our almost 5000m2 large garden, with more than 20 fruit trees, there is always a place to find in the sun or in the shade.

Het voelde als thuiskomen na een warm onthaal, maar nu in een andere setting sinds 2018.
.Enthousiast geworden van de foto's en verhalen kon Dorien persoonlijk ervaren hoe de sfeer was. Ook zij werd liefelijk in de armen gesloten en heeft enorm genoten van de entourage en de omgang met Peter en Joke. Zij hebben er alles aan gedaan om deze vakantie voor ons tot een succes te maken. Als hoogtepunt werd ik vanwege m'n verjaardag getrakteerd op een heuse "Saint Honoré" taart een echte Franse klassieker die met veel moeite en de nodige kilometers voor mij is gehaald om vooral deze dag onvergetelijk te maken.
Het viel ons ook moeilijk om weer afscheid te moeten nemen na deze fantastische tijd. Peter en Joke alle goeds en een goede gezondheid gewenst voor nu en de toekomst.
We kunnen terugkijken op een heerlijke ontspannen en mooie warme 2 weken.

Wat een prachtige plek en heerlijk huisje. Fijn dat er geen andere gasten zijn, waardoor je helemaal tot rust komt. Met Peter en Joke goed contact gehad, erg lieve mensen. Verkoeling kun je in het mooie zwembad zoeken bij warm weer. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis voor ons geweest om te wandelen en racefietsen. Zelf nog een hertje in de tuin gezien. Kortom een fantastische plek!

Wat een fijne plek om een weekje te mogen verblijven. De gite heeft een prima formaat en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is fenomenaal. Een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen en vanwaaruit je hele mooie tripjes bv richting de Pyreneeën kan maken. Peter en Joke zijn hele fijne mensen, contact waar gewenst, zonder heel aanwezig te zijn. M.a.w. een vakantie om met veel plezier op terug te kijken.
Restaurants, food & wine
Le Grand Sud-Ouest, as the region is called here, is known for its good food with local dishes such as cassoulet, canard and foie gras. There are plenty of small restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious culinary meal, of course, with a good glass of wine.
Activities
Besides the fact that you can go for lovely walks in the area, there are also beautiful nature parks where you can go for short or long walks.
And if you want a bit of excitement again, then a day trip to Toulouse is highly recommended. Toulouse is also called "la ville rose", because most of the buildings have red bricks. There are beautiful parks and squares and wonderful historical buildings, of which La Capitole (the city hall) is very famous.
Around Toulouse, there are also large shopping centres (with free parking!).
Another beautiful city is Auch, known for d'Artagnan and the 3 musketeers.
And towards the south: the Pyrenees, until the end of May there is still snow on the mountains. Or a day trip to Spain, in 45 minutes drive you are in Bosost, a nice Spanish village in the heart of the Pyrenees.
Furthermore, there are beautiful golf courses in the area.
