The house
Les Combes is a double holiday home consisting of an old and a new part.
This advertisement concerns the old part: a 300 year old farmhouse built from pierres (large stones from the local valley) and the walls are 60 cm thick. This house has been completely renovated, with respect for the old building style. Downstairs is a large cosy living room with wood stove and TV with Dutch channels. In the same room there is an open kitchen with all modern conveniences (four-burner cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher) and a scullery (washing machine and toilet). Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (1x single bed, 1x double bed, 3x single bed) and a bathroom with toilet, shower and double washbasin.
The holiday home has its own terrace and outdoor seating area. There is a beautiful communal swimming pool of 8x4 m with roman steps. Around the pool is a terrace with sun loungers and parasols.

Frayssinet is a small village with about 300 inhabitants, situated in the still unspoiled nature on the edge of the Regional Parc Naturel Des Causses Du Quercy, between the Lot and the Dordogne.
Just 500 metres from Frayssinet lies Les Combes, in the middle of nature. That means peace and quiet and above all enjoying what nature has to offer.
The front of Les Combes looks out over a valley, which during the summer evenings can give a beautiful spectacle of different natural colours.
Who doesn't dream of seeing deer and roe deer early in the morning in the open fields next door, or a wild boar crossing from the bushes to the other side of the road, a buzzard flying over in the sky and sometimes an eagle flying high up.
Every morning, get in your car or on your bike and go to the boulangerie with its delicious baguettes, boules and other, mostly local, delicacies.
The neighbours are all very friendly and are always ready for a nice chat and they are happy to let you share in the French culture, such as home made wine or products from the garden.
The terrain of Les Combes has an area of 2500 m2 and is situated on a gentle mountain slope, laid with grass. Around the pool there are conifers as a separation. Via various roads you will reach several small villages and hamlets in the vicinity.
Since 2005 this part of France is now easily accessible by car via the A20. This (toll) road drives through a large natural area with impressive views of valleys to the left and right.
Nearby is the nature reserve Parc Naturel Regional des Causses du Quercy. In this beautiful piece of nature, the rivers Lot, Dordogne and Cele flow through. Therefore, there is plenty of opportunity for various water sports.
The nature also invites you for a long walk, a bike ride, a horse ride and even a game of golf.
Les Combes is located quite central to drive to various places of interest. It is highly recommended to visit various markets in the area.
