The house
The house is neat and tidy. The entrance is via a few steps to the terrace. The living room has a sitting area around the cosy fireplace, a well-stocked bookcase with current books, TV (with Dutch channels), dining area and French doors leading to the terrace. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven/microwave, fridge/freezer and a breakfast corner and there is a door to the terrace.
Bedroom 1: a large double bed (1.60 x 2 m) with spacious wardrobes and mirror wall.
Bedroom 2: a single bed 0.90 x 2m.
Bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin, there is also a separate toilet. Duvets and pillows are provided and there is a washing machine. Dutch speaking reception and manager. Free unlimited wifi via fibre-optic connection. We take no responsibility for technical failures.

The holiday home is situated in the woody area of Pontcirq (2 km), between the tourist toppers Cahors (25 km) and Fumel (33 km) on a partly enclosed property with a lot of privacy.
Detached, recently built holiday home. You have a - partially wooded - terrain of 1.4 ha at your disposal, surrounded by a neat garden with shade trees. A fantastic place for the children, who will romp, swing and play hide-and-seek to their heart's content. They will probably have the most fun in your fenced private swimming pool (10.5 x 5.5 m, depth 1.40 - 2.40 m) with terrace and sun beds, on which you look out from the beautiful, higher situated and partly covered terrace with garden furniture and BBQ, with a wide view over the valley in the background. In the evening on the terrace listening to the owls, the deer, the grunting of the wild pigs, etc.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de heer Bink. Le Rege is een prettig, compact huis met goede woonkamer, slaapkamers en badkamer. Het huis is rustig gelegen in de natuur en vanaf het terras heb je een mooi uitzicht. De keuken heeft echter een update nodig en daarnaast zijn er geen goede koekenpannen aanwezig.
Bij zonnig weer hebben we regelmatig van het prima zwembad gebruik gemaakt. In de omgeving van het huis liggen mooie plaatsjes en bezienswaardigheden en de Dordogne is wat verder weg maar nog goed aan te rijden.Fam. Latumahina from Gouda,

Wat hebben wij het heerlijk gehad in jullie fijne vakantiewoning. Een plek om echt tot rust te komen.
De privacy, de zeer vriendelijke beheerder, de omgeving van het huisje (inclusief de hertjes in de tuin!) en de gemakken waar het huisje van voorzien was, waren top. Een week was eigenlijk veel te kort, we zijn zeker van plan om nog eens terug te komen, maar dan wat langer. Er is vanalles te zien en te beleven in de prachtige omgeving: wat een ontzettend mooi stuk van Frankrijk! Ook ons bezoekje aan Toulouse was een hoogtepunt. Het zwembad was boven verwachting. Daar hebben we, ondanks het frisse weer (helaas!) toch nog veel gebruik van gemaakt. Heerlijk! Alles was echt dik in orde. Zoals ik al zei: zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Tot de volgende keer! Sjans met het weer waardoor we met volle teugen hebben kunnen genieten van het mega super zwembad.
Privacy en rust zijn voor ons prioriteit.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are several good restaurants in the area where you can eat. In the afternoon, most restaurants have a menu de jour where you can enjoy a delicious 4/5 -course dinner for a reasonable price of about 15 Euros. And don't forget to visit some of the widely present wine chateaus. You can taste and buy the world famous Cahors wines.
Activities
Complete privacy, peace and quiet and a beautiful large private swimming pool. (Open from approx. 22 April and closes around 1 October) These are the main ingredients of a stay in this holiday home in the Lot region in southern France.
The house is situated on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley in the wooded area of Pontcirq (2 km), between the tourist toppers Cahors (25 km) and Fumel (33 km) for a tour are Domme, Sarlat and Sant - Cirq-lapopie also easily accessible. So there is no lack of sights.
At a few km is the river Lot, here you can swim, canoe and fish. Furthermore, there is the lake of Catus at 6 km and then the wonderful walking paths between the characteristic stone walls. In the vicinity there is also the possibility for horse riding, steep wall climbing and mountain biking.
Furthermore, there are beautiful castles, caves and authentic villages. And don't forget to visit the fine restaurants and the widely present wine chateaus. There you can taste and buy the world famous Cahors wines.
